Do you think they would ever make the same statue in 1/4 scale? personally i just love the pose and the expression on his face, i don't need a 3 foot version when i would be perfectly happy with a 1 1/2 foot version for a fraction of the cost. I'm going to write sideshow a letter.

Thanks! I'm really pleased with how this piece looks. It kicks all kind of ass. I would really really love to get one but as of now I probably won't though. If Sauron is going to be part of this line then that will be my jump into this scale.

Maul is a tempting choice...

Even though SW is my main collecting focus I may go with Wolverine first then Maul. I want all three but I will have to sell off a lot to accommodate this.

It will cost Sideshow $200.00 to make it tops, the rest is profit. If you think about it we are really just paying for a Legendary Scale bust with fabric and a sculpted boot (Darth Maul) does anyone know if the body is even sculpted, I mean well enough that you can take off his robe? If not maul sounds like a rip off. for $2000.00 everything better be sculpted, fabric can't be that expensive now a days can it?

I hope Sideshow is not trying to pull a fast one on us again

If sculptures from the Philippines can sculpt the whole body with amazing attention to detail regardless of whether it will be under cloth, I don't see why sideshow can't.

unfortunately, that is how it is going to be. :slap

How impressive are the LSF's in person Josh? Much more "presence" than a P.F. ? Of the big 3 (Obi-Wan, Maul, Wolverine) which was your fave?

They're pretty damn impressive. The sheer amount of detail you can get into pieces this size is quite amazing. Obi-Wan and Maul look like real people. Yeah, more presence than a PF just because of the size if nothing else. I'd go Obi-Wan, Maul, and Wolverine in that order.

i believe one really needs to see these Legendary Scale creations in person to be able to truly appreciate them. Darth Maul's costume (boots and gloves included) appeared to have been perfectly recreated with the upmost of exacting standards. i was floored. every detail, including the character's essence was there...

again, let's hope the production run can match the protos.

Yeah, I was torn between Maul and The Wolf. I can now say with absolute certainty that I'm going with Maul.

I agree, I think Maul and Wolf were the most impressive, with Wolverine a close 3rd. I have to say though with Maul in that straight up standing pose...while very static just puts off so much attitude in that pose. An amazing statue.

These guys were insanely impressive. Obi blew me away because he looks so real. If I were to buy one, i would get wolverine though...just epic. I wish that wolverine was the pose they used for the PF. unfortunately, I have no room for the PFs I have on preorder let alone a 1:2 scale statue...hah.

I too saw these LSF's in person and I nearly slammed into another crowd observer gazing at these amazing beasts. Maul, Wolverine, and Predator were my favs!
