You sound very bitter.

Why pay $150 for a custom bale head when the one HT is including looks like a modern work of art brought down from Mount Olympus after being forged by the Gods? I think most people are in agreement that they are getting top notch sculpts and almost unequalled paint applications with their factory licensed figures without having to pay anything extra for it.

Also remember, better or best of anything will always be subjective.

Oh I'm not at all bitter, im glad HT is improving their work, that's good for everyone

And I can honestly say I'll have absolutely no issues selling a custom when something better (factory made or custom, doesn't matter, comes along), I've done that many times in the past and I'll do it again here if the in hand comparison doesn't work in my customs favour

And yes what's better is subjective to a degree, but sometimes the differences are pretty significant and noticeable when comparing to reference images

as much as i was hyped about this when i've seen first the pics, as much my emotion goes down now about it

the only good thing is, that people who have missed this begins figure, will get it now, but the rest? meh...

harness looks odd, i'm really not digging it. looks too thing and small and weird. looks also like it holds batman boobs somehow ^^

bruce wayne is cool yes, but still not that over-hyped head somehow. the paint is wonderful! but the sculpt itself isn't THAT spectacular. I've shown some pics to my brother and he thought he were Superman first in a Batsuit I'm also not liking that neck and head isn't one-piece, but cutted. I just don't like heads without necks.

And I'm also not getting this discussions about customs vs. original release and posts like "you're not liking it because you've thrown money out of the window for your custom head". why are people so against customs man? like if it was something really evil to collect custom stuff. hot toys sculptors were also some custom guys before, so what the heck?

I too think Adams head is by miles better then Hot Toys try. But i still say, that is a damn good head, but not perfect. Nose, mouth, chin... these aren't really Bale ones. It remembers me A LOT of the john connor headsculpt from Kojun.

And heck, people have to calm a bit down here about this release. It's just a figure, so no need to panic or anything else.
Many complained that the price of the OC were ridiculous high and didn't want to pay 300-400$ for it, but with this release here, everyone is praying that the price-tag will be around 300-400$? WTF?

Pretty dead-on Bale to me. Maybe could use thicker brows and thinner bottom lip, but that's hard to say as the expressions are still different.

Kojun definitely stepped it up from Connor... especially that nose.

It's obviously not Superman... I wouldn't trust your brother's judgement ever again!

Ive owned every HT batman figure to date and I NEED this one.

The sculpt isnt that spectacular?! You and your brother need glasses brah.

This is a freaking 1/6 head, of course it wont be perfect to BALE in real life. get over it and stop kidding yourselves that this will be anything less than amazing in hand. Go pay $400+ for your shoddy quality custom jobs, i'll gladly take this batman any day over those.

OK first things first, I never said this sculpt is 'poor' i said it's really good, but nowhere near as good as Adam's.

Also, my Adam head is with my painter, when I get it in hand, I will most CERTAINLY post side by side pics with this new HT Wayne, and we'll see how funny the comparison is.

The nose looks better on the custom...but other than that everything looks better, and I still prefer, the HT one. My opinion anyway.

I love the hot toys wayne sculpt and I also love the adam bale head.
Why alwasy people need to compare things.

They are both excellent sculpt, no point arguing.

But sadly now each thread seems to go in the same direction with people comparing stuff where there's no need to.
As long as everyone is happy with wathever they like.

Nope. Fact is that Batman sculpt hasn't been released yet. When it is, i'll let you know how much it cost.

With all the debate over which head is better. I've just managed to pick up the new Batman & yeah it cost me alot of $$$ but to me its worth every penny. I've been wanting this figure for so long now & I've finally finally going to get. My birthday is July 30 when it should roughly arrive, this'll be the best birthday present ever
