Freaks who love the word "Entitlement"...

You need to either buy a new dictionary, or stop making up definitions and actually look up the words. :lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly:

There's a difference between being a collector and being Rain Man.

I thought I saw lots of Rain Man advertising in some people's signatures...

"Yeah, definitely 5.3cm x 3.5 cm. Uh oh, fart."

No, don't disrespect Raymond. He's a cool guy.

This is how the people in this thread act,

Man - the level of scrutiny in this thread regarding the figure is profound to say the least! :lol

Admittedly, I can be very picky when it comes to certain things in the collectibles world too, let it be said. However, I must say that at this stage, the figure is not only an adequate representation - but a sensational one.

It's of course the case that anything can be improved upon, but I certainly agree with the point that focusing on the negative aspects of a brilliant figure like this, just kills the fun - & completely misses the point that this is a prototype. I've pre-ordered the piece because it's a wonderful figure. There's no harm in wanting something to be better, but I'm thinking HT won't exactly appreciate being told how to do their job. These guys are talented mofos people, have some faith! :peace

Sick thing is, when HT inevitably tweaks the sculpt, these people will take credit for it saying it was their OCD douchery here that made HT change it, further justifying the behavior for subsequent releases. :monkey1

Devil_666 - It all becomes clear now. I guess I must be Rain Man because..."I'm an excellent driver". :lol

Funny you added the note in the "letter from Hot Toys" regarding not being an architect designing a house. I AM an architect and I guess that's why my eyes have been trained to scrutinise the finest details and be informative with any suggestions I make.

To crow I ask this - what's the point of agreeing that the boots need to be fixed but then not being bothered about whether the logo shape is off??? Seriously, you want the boots fixed but you don't want an accurate chest and cape logo? I honestly don't understand that sort of half arsed approach at critiquing something and I'm glad some of us here push for excellence on things that would be very simple to fix and would benefit all collectors at the end of the day.

Luckily (for those of us who DO care), all of the information relating to the sculpt, the logos and the boots are being given DIRECTLY to someone at Hot Toys who is in a position to make the changes.

I don't know why HT bothers paying their creative team salaries when their best work is done right here for free by the good OCD folk at SSF :lol
