My final display will have 1 statue displayed from a collection of 365 which I will rotate daily....

I've already asked this on the "Sandbox" section of the forums but this time I want to be more specific. Do you guys have a set limit on which you'll be collecting?

How many is enough & please don't say that you won't ever stop collecting. Yes it is possible but space will eventually run out & if that isn't a problem for you, then unfortunately this isn't the thread for you.

I am excluding the Hot Toys "only" collectors for the reason that the collectibles I'm mentioning mostly concern PFs, Coms & Dios.

Please try & give a number on what you think your limit is.
Much appreciated!

I think there is no set number a collector will have, there will always be a new piece that you will have to have. Space and finances dictate what I buy and keep. Technically you can collect until you die because there will always be a new sculpt that you will want but unless you are independently wealthy and own a museum you will run out of room or money. Some collectors sell off older pieces to make room and finances for newer sculpts while others keep everything they get. One thing that I do is keep quite the bulk of the collection in storage and display a few pieces and rotate them out every few month or so.

Sadly I am not wealthy or own a museum and I have to pick and choose what I buy and keep. The temptation is always there to get the latest sculpt but my finances and space always limit me. Remember you can't own them all unless you are a millionaire with his own museum.

I just went blind. Amazing how I'm still typing. Touch typist, you know...

I on the other hand have only 1 & will be rotating it in a counter clockwise direction.

I love my Rick O'Connell PF.

I'm still waiting for my RickRoll'd'S'rus :tap

I'll get on that Fuzzy. I'm purchasing the Venomsaurus right this moment. When that piece gets here I got a room with mirrors on the ceiling with a heart shaped jacuzzi in the bathroom & a bottle of bubbly chillin' in the fridge & just let Rick & Venomsaurus produce this piece for you. Sound like a plan?

The bottle of bubbly sounds a bit much, otherwise seems like a plan.....

Wow, do I see tons of contradictions here. :ohbfrank:

I could happily bow out after I have a Chris Reeve Superman and a Michael Keaton Batman, but they keep making these awesome other characters, DAMN YOU, HOT TOYS!!

I think he was saying that Rick & Venomsaurus get into the jacuzzi and copulate to conceive to produce the piece for you. That was the joke I think. I do not think that he meant that YOU and HE should be getting into the jacuzzi together with the bubbly......:rotfl
