Thanks for getting back to me on the lights you use. I saw them at Ikea last week and I got the impression that the cable wasn't very long between each light. It made it seem like it would be impossible to mount them all over a space of about 5 feet. The four strips were mounted within about a 6 inch space. Obviously this was for display purposes in the store but one of the employees said there really isn't much cord between each light and I figure I will be mounting each light about twenty-five inches apart. I did take a better look at the lights on their site and I think they should be fine. Is it possible to hook up multiple sets of lights? I know four come in a pack but can you use 8 off of the same switch?

For dioder, it can not be chaining as 8 on a switch, the problem is that we must chaining two strips with only 3 cm of cable between it and 1 m 50 to housing, which clearly limits the lengths, less than tinkering with cables
