I ordered a second Dx and a replacement mirror background for the one I ____ed up. The figure is one of the best ever released IMO, but the backdrop has some issues. Has everyone tried to peel off the center mirror panel? The outside ones are fine, but the center doesn't seem as if it should come off, when I did peel it (carefully) it took huge slivers of silver with it. Obviously it shouldn't do that? from a lot of the pics I have seen here it doesn't look like people have peeled the center? It's duller and more matte out of the box.
Don't think I will try it again!

That's alot of money to waste for just the Backdrop,but i won't judge you.I am thinking about it myself and sell the things i don't need.

Nah, I picked up a separate mirror backdrop, for a decent price on ebay. I thought I would invest in a second regular DX set. So I will have one regular set, one EX set.

Then I can decide what I want and don't want.

Cool man, some excellent pics there, but at first I though you were opening a DX04 only pic thread. So that anyone can post pics only in here (which I thought would be a great idea).

With the exception of the pucker in the lips, it's the same head, dude. You'd know this if you actually owned it.

I'm only going based on the pictures bro. the heads are a little different and don't seem to be the same in the pictures you showed.

I'm only going based on the pictures bro. the heads are a little different and don't seem to be the same in the pictures you showed.

HT's proto pics tend to be a little misleading, and maybe the likeness isn't 199% accurate, but in hand there isn't a doubt that this is Bruce Lee. If you're a fan you should pick this up even if you're on the fence.... Just my two bits.

IMO any likeness issues are insanely miniscule.

Bruce has landed and will be delivered tomorrow. I wish I could just drive over to the distribution center and pick it up. Save them gas on the delivery and I would have it when it hits town.

For whatever reason, Bruce lee's face is one of the hardest to get right. But I have to say, the likeness is closer here in these new pics you posted above.
