Aside from the $700 price tag.

Well you should have got it when it was released:dunno If you came into this hobby late and missed it that way, well that's just tough luck.

Some figure will become rare and go up in price, it's part of the hobby.

Okay, so on a lot of nitpicking and looking at film screenshots I think everything looks close enough for government work. The only thing that I think could use some addressing are the forearms which don't look quite "Popeye" enough. I think those might be the only actual re-uses as I'm pretty damn positive they're the same forearms from the BD Mark III.

The Mech Test sculpt might be re-used here as well just so no one jumps on me for that. I just meant re-used Mark II/III molds.

it almost looks like it comes with 2 pairs of legs. Because the calves and ankles look thicker when the wiring is exposed and when everything is sealed up it looks thin, more proportioned.

I was just thinking about that, and that's a great way to describe them!

With the Mech test boots, he looks very unporportionate with teh body and leg the same height. He looks like a midget with a huge lower leg. Pretty dumb idea. Besides the hands, helmet, interchangeable parts, hip missile, paint and probably neck, its the same body and mold as the MKII

Just saw the pics of the full reveal and - oh - em - gee
I never thought that my jaw would drop at the site of the Mark II. Really? The Mk II? This looks killer as all hell.

Really surprised they threw in the hall of armor base, thats gonna drive up the price. Would have rather had the autopsy table. And Im guessing their re-using the war machine Rhodey head sculpt. Thats a missed opportunity. If they're still gonna pay for likeness rights, they could have given us a full sculpt

The new Mk. II is more in common to BD Mk. 3 than Mk. 3 & 2 ver. 1.

The only part that's a re-use are parts of the arms (well and the mech-test boots). Everything else is brand new.

I had people refusing to believe the Mark IV was different from the Mark III though so I'm sure there are plenty of people that won't be able to tell the difference between this and the old II.

It looks good and all, but do you guys with the first one think he looks superior enough to get this new one? I don't think it's a huge improvement to the first. I wander if the LED's will stay white on this one?

I thought that other thread established that Hot Toys either hold their value or go up forever until the end of time even when superior re-releases happen. :panic:

So no worries, old Mk2 owners!

looking at the picture where it's lying at the table, if you look at the lower leg armor, you'll notice that it has the pegs for the boot part. i am assuming that the lower disassembled leg can be pulled off, replaced by the clean look.

yea, I would want the table instead
