Eh the movies are alright if you stop comparing them to the games.

As a separate franchise they're enjoyable action/horror flicks.

I've said a billion times I can enjoy the first movie if I turn my mind off because there are really no characters from the game (with the exception of Zombies and the Licker) in it but Apocalypse I just can't stand how they _____ed out Jill and Nemesis and worse, making Nemesis the hero at the end. RE3 was just pure suck in my opinion. Force powered Alice and Tyrant, none of the game characters had accurate costumes etc. Even if RE:E had none of the game characters and was it's own movie, I still think it would suck imo of course. The only thing I liked about that movie was Alice's outfit. Afterlife was pretty bad too but better than the last 2. I dug the fight scenes with the Executioner and Wesker but other than that the movie had nothing else to interest me. The actor playing Wesker though was still too youngish looking to me and his Wesker voice was laughable. Anyways as long as Paul WS Anderson has anything to do with the movies, the RE movies will allways suck. Anyway rant over

yeah, the movies definitely suck. Its mindless entertainment. It doesn't really make this figure look any worse though.

If it helps, think of it as mila jovovich with guns and swords. Or a nameless zombie killer/action hero.

Yeah the Resident Evil movies were horrible the only decent movie is the first one.

I love the movies!! Do I think they are the best movies ever.. heck no.. but they are very enjoyable and do what movies are suppose to.. which is entertain. To many are comparing them to the games.

It's not impossible to like both the movies and the games as I do...I like to compare but I know they're both seperate universes, so there's going to be differences...

Besides, Milla Jovovich is gorgeous, and watching her run around in costume is great...

I try too keep an open mind when it comes to the movies. That's why I keep seeing watching them hoping they'll eventually make a decent movie. What I don't like is them _____ing out the game characters to make Alice look cooler not to mention none of the RE movies really have that RE feel to them. I understand that a VG movie will not be exactly like it's game counterpart but what's the point in making an RE movie if it's not gonna even have the same feel and in the case of the first film none of the game characters? I mean the Silent Hill movie was a bit different than the games but it still had the overall feel the games had. I dunno I guess because RE is my favorite game series, I hold it to a much higher standard than I would most anything else.

Not expecting much as I thought the last one wasn't very good, well none of them are very good but the first two were enjoyable.

I thought Afterlife was the best one yet. The opening was kick-ass and I enjoyed the Executioner and Wesker. I'm not a 3D fan but I saw it in theaters in 3D and it was pretty damn cool.

I thought it was way better than 2 and 3. 3 is silly, but I like the road warrior stuff. I absolutely hate 2.

Not really sure where the hell the series will go. Maybe they will reboot it like everything else after 2 more sequels.
