That's just beautiful. I'm going to be bold and honest with this next comment: I don't know about you guys, but looking at the picture and how great this looks, it takes away the pain of the big $$ I am spending for this set. Clears my head of all doubts. And that's a good thing.

Well, it's Kato's 1/6 Joker Outfit thread and we are paying for it, so we can compare all we want. We are comparing because we want an improvement on what we already have.
I don't get it, people don't like when comparisons are made at the DC section, but now that there's a thread specific to this project AAAAND it's properly placed in the customs thread, it's still not fair to compare?

depends on retail price or aftermarket price... lol with DX jokers going for 500-600, this clothing set isnt too bad..
Clearly kato‘s vest is superior, but it‘s not fair to compare the two, price of kato‘s vest is almost the price of the full joker figure

..we did as the mod's said and we stopped talking about custom stuff in the dx joker thread, this is the thread for this project and we can talk about how much better it is the the dx all we want "in here".
..this suit will kick the dx's ass, accept it and let us talk about it our own thread.

Don't be sensitive, of course it's cool and normal to compare it all you want, but on a practical level, one being a mass produced and one being carefully hand made, it seems strange to compare them

Yes of course Kato has the advantage of hand making each of these and taking his time to make it as close to perfect as possible. And he has not been asked to keep costs at a certain level which i'm sure HT clothes making factories/artists have to take into account.
So clearly Kato's work has all the advantages and is going to be superior to HTs.
On top of that, I would argue Kato is considerably more skilled than HT's tailors - even Harue's best work does not match Kato's IMO.
But yeah of course at the end of the day we will be comparing this to the DX clothes, despite the fact that they cost a whole lot more - we're all upgrading our jokers at the end of the day.
So a really pointless discussion to be honest. I'd much rather just marvel at how good this project is turning out!
