GREAT news! I look forward to seeing Sentinel with a ton of chrome and nice deep red, and especially Ironhide will be exciting. Hopefully he'll get the Buster treatment and be given some nice big new guns as well, since the fold away ones are just dinky.
But damn this year will be expensive for me. I still have to get Starscream, there's that Japan-exclusive Jetwing Prime that's supposedly the RotF leader with jet parts, and now these two?

The only Prime toy I'd be intrested in is Ratchet as the design is close enough to the one from the War For Cybertron videogame to be able to mod it to fit in with my Classics as I can't stand the Universe/Henkei version.
Although my intrest in Bayformers has admittedly declined in recent months I still expected a few things from the DOTM lines to tempt me but there's just nothing there.
A Leader Class Ironhide was among my most wanted figures 6 months ago but now one's finally been made it's no real suprise to see Hasbro have made a mess of it and stuck a load of junk to the roof plus something sticking out the back of the truck bed which totally ruins the look of the alt mode and have replaced his signature BFG's in robot mode with some crappy smaller weapons.
The only proper Human Alliance toys are a crappy Bumblebee repaint and one of the retard twins.........where's the Ferrari Italia, the Mercedes or some of the Wreckers?
The news of a continuation of Generations means nothing as the line was already brought to an end after wave 2 in the UK and the rest of the new toys will be repaints with the new heads shown in the instruction sheets of the original ones.
As these will inevitably be obscure characters I've no connection with or lazy versions of popular characters they couldn't be bothered to make new molds for I don't anticipate there being anything to get me rushing to pre-order from an import store as I only buy repaints if the character has always been one eg Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker.

I just have the arms to repaint which is why they're not attached in that pic plus a few details on the head and torso and he's done.

That's part of the gimmick: Popout weapons in vehicle and robot mode. The thing that sticks out of the truckbed is actually the panel that will cover up one of the cannons. When it's all closed up, you'll have a smooth surface, and it looks like this will also be the first Ironhide with an open truck bed.
