Did an HDR of the group shot from a different angle.

Also did another "light painting" experiment. I apologize for the photoshop light-up job but it's impossible to take these photos with the lights on. Well it's possible the photos would just be totally blown out.

wow, really nice shots really like the 2nd pic :)

Oh yeah, been wanting to ask has anyone successfully removed the RDJ head from his neck? I want to put it on my TT figure but since the neck is short it looks retarded. Does it fit perfectly and look better on the TT neck? And no matter how much force I put I can't remove the head. People said hair dryer or hot water but I definitely don't want to dip it in hot water and hair dryer didn't really work out for me either. Any input is appreciated thank you.

Very nice! I like the first one because you can see the side of the Mark I which we don't see a lot of.

Second one reminds me of sparks falling around him.

Very nice man!

Ah shaq-fu darn it. Anyone know how to get the calf armor that flips out to sit flush again?

Also anyone receive one with a terrible seam line between the shoulder and neck?

I have been “on the fence” about getting the Mark IV for the longest time now.
I decided to go for the Mark VI (which is on order) as The Mark IV and VI are pretty much the same fig (headsculpts, chest piece and battle damage withstanding) and thought that I would be happy to save some cash and keep the Mark III as my only representation of the red and gold armour with the circular chest piece.
Having seen the fantastic pics on this thread my resolve is crumbling………….

Also I am also planning on getting the Mark V and am started to worry that having the Mark I, II, III, V and VI on my shelf with no Mark IV would start to annoy me. Instead of seeing the figs I have, will I just see the gap where the Mark IV should be?

Do you guys think the suits are different enough to warrant purchasing both?
If I pass will I end up regretting it?

Bob

i think you should do one of two things...

1) Get all of the armors so there are no gaps

or better yet,

2) sell me your Mark 1, 2, and 3 at a below average price...then just buy the Mark VI and War Machine

:D :duff

I think if you already have the Mark I, II, and II, and if you plan on getting the Mark V and VI, you will need to get the Mark IV. It will look very odd without it.. especially if you display them on their stands.. the missing mark IV will be bugging you.

You could see the beauty in the 'space', appreciate the essence of what ought to be there rather than what actually is.

But I would get the Mark IV to complete the set else it eat away at me for the rest of my life.

@dedguy: Wonderful shots bro! Love the group shot! Hopefully we could see the front view of that one. Btw, you didn't get the Mark III BD right?

I posted a front on view of that same shot a few pages back. I didn't get the BD MKIII because I already had a MKIII, I don't really like the battle damage, and I like the coloring, if not the finish, better on the original.

Also I didn't want to spend the money.

Looking forward to the Iron Man orgy of pictures that are coming from the Menagerie! I'm finishing up some more myself tonight/ tomorrow and hope to have them posted soon.

"orgy of pictures" :lol

Well I hope I don't disappoint too much! The pictures being posted in this thread are really quite stunning. Including yours!

I guarantee that mine will be subpar compared to dedguy's. :(

Here is my current set-up now that I have the Mark IV:

I might put the helmet on at some point, but I like it this way for now.

My BD Mark III has made its way to my customizing desk, where it will get the Mech Test Stark head and further battle damage, awaiting the release of Iron Monger. :D
