Film accurrate, his Rocky 6 robe were the gold and black Itallian Stallion colors but it was different from the Rocky 2/3 design, black robe with yellow trim and just BALBOA on the back where the 2/3 was yellow with black trim and the stallion logo on the back.

I do hope that the Barney parts are a sign of uses for a Rambo 4 and Rocky 6, not 100% spot on but close enough you could do all 3 old Stallone roles with that body setup and they'd look nice.

Honestlly, I would've preferred either of those two to a Barney.

Well, you won't get any argument on that from me. I actually like the final film in each series the most and I'd really like to have HT figures of him from each.

I still hold out hope. Unfortunately, the Rocky line seemed to fade out in support with the massive Drago and the silly Clubber variant didn't help, but I'm hoping that Barney came before any old Stallone stuff as a test of how popular his figures are, and I think with today's HT figure quality, Rocky and Rambo figures could do really well. I'm holding out that the poll they put up means we're getting more Stallone and hopefully those two characters, but I'm sure they'll hold off a reveal until Barney's pretty well sold off. As well as he's doing, I'm sure a number of folks looking to get him would drop their orders in a flash if a more classic Stallone character were offered. Stallone fans don't often get merchandise so we sort of take what we can get.

The poll must mean something, it must be a tool used to guage interest without spending money on a secondary institute to conduct research. Then again how technical can this hobby be? Its all internet based anyway. I think the poll is a very good sign but who knows which license they'll choose. We feel the same way in respect to Rocky 1&6 and Rambo (Or First Blood) 1&4 but I know I MUST have something from "Rocky" before part 6.

Having 3-4 possibilities from part 1 always has me intrigued. Training, Collector for Gazo, Fighter, Bruised Fighter. Thats why the Jakks figures were so much fun.

Judging by how happy he was looking at the Barney figure, I think it's safe to say Sly wants them too!

I agree with you 100% on dropping the Barney order for a classic Stallone character like Rocky or Rambo, am not getting Barney because I hated the Expendables and the character Barney means nothing too me, I don't care if it's Stallone, the film sucked, so whats the point in getting a fig from a film I didn't like.

Me too. I want a Rocky 1 street clothe version & a Rocky 2 3 or 4 boxing get up version w/ HT today's quality! That would be awesome! Agree, HT should do that first 2 series of Rocky..one of the best IMHO!

I think it does, like I said, I think HT will wait for Barney to be pretty much sold off before revealing a new Stallone figure, but their last poll led to T1 and T2 figures so these things aren't just cruel teases.

Hopefully that could do us some favors. It's one thing for random web-nerds to post how much they like and want stuff, but when the guy it's based on is singing your praises, I think it gets more attention.

I love it, while I'd much rather have Rambo 4 or Rocky 6, I'm still very happy to be getting Barney Ross too. I thought it was a classic action movie like I grew up loving, great fights, awesome weapons, cheesy humor, awesome cast, really like the score, I was very happy with how it turned out, I went in with high anticipation and it delivered.

Yes, the body and head skintones aren't a precise match, it's not too noticeable without taking certain photos or really staring at it looking for a difference.

The tone on the sculpt is slightly darker but its nothing major. You don't really notice it much unless you look for it. I usually display him with the Balboa robe anyway so it is barely noticable.

Those are some great ideas for Rocky figs, but the reality is the only why that you would ever see that many rocky figs made would be if Sideshow did them in the level of quality that they did the Planet of the Apes, about $50 - $75 a fig. I really think that the best we could hope for is if HT does one fig for Rocky 1 and one for Rocky II. I'm not very opitimistic because it's been 3 or 4 years since the Rocky III Italion Stallion fig was released.

Those Jakks Rocky figs are starting too go why up in price recently on ebay, glad I got in early on those.

What amazes me is that I thought it was impossible to take good photos without allot of light. I was amazed to learn that a dark environment can be perfect because you can manipulate the flash (or multiple flashes) to control shadows. It really is very interesting.

Yes sir. I will be investing in a decent tripod. The on e I was playing with today had a really great fully rotatable head. Maulfan, is there a thread where all you photo guys discuss cameras, accessories & techniques? I would be curious to hear what kind of gear you and others use.
