Thanks. The one thing that has always bugged me about Detolfs is the bland background they give with the glass.

I'm thinking about printing out a map of Eternia that will cover the back of all 4 Detolfs.

I know what you mean. I use black poster board for the back of mine. It's held up by velcro and it's been up for the past 3 years without any problems. Does a decent job eliminating the bland background you get from the glass in those Detolfs.

The map of Eternia is a great idea. Especially for the set-up that you have.

i need to find a better way to display my MOTUC figures. i don't really want to put any more detolfs into my basement room. i'm thinking of getting some cheap bookcases and custom making some all-glass doors for them. one or 2 figures every month really starts adding up fast. can't find room for them all.

...
wut?

I think I read on their facebook that somebody found a Faker just like that at Toys R Us with the "Only at Toys R Us" label on it. He though maybe somebody did some sort of retail swap scam, but I don't know. Maybe something weird is going on and they really are trying out MOTUC at retail.

Now that I read the article, instead of looking at the picture, I guess it was just a scam. It doesn't make that much sense to me to do that scam, but who knows.

It seems like kind of a pain in the ass to buy the set, add the two-pack bar code to the Mer-Man packaging and then return it to Toys R Us.

After all the single pack Mer-Man would cost about $30 already and the two packs are $35 plus tax. The effort doesn't seems worth saving $7 or $8 total in my opinion.

Also, I hate it when these jerks do stuff like this. I've seen it a lot with DCUC build-a-figure parts where they swap in the parts from old sets that they don't need and take the ones they do.

Yep, I hate aisle trolls...
That's why I do most of my shopping online...

On a side note,
got my Palace Guards last night, they are neat, but I think a bit "over-armored"...
The shield is hard to attach with the arm-guard on... and the shin-guards don't work as well with these boots as they do with MAA...
My other complaint is that the upper-arm/shoulder guard straps are obstructed by the bulky armor, so they look like freaking football players... not my pic, but see what I mean...

man they are just previewing everything lately.

Preternian He-man is alright, but he's just not as cool as Wundar was.

Wundar is definitely cooler than pre-eternian he-man....hopefully the next sub figure is a better piece

I like the hood and skirt, looks like a plain kilt...
I was hoping that his torso was skin tone to customize him with some extra armor... maybe KG's, but won't work now...

BTW, I was thinking of getting an extra Faker with the Palace Guard armor, instant Battle Armor Faker!! :yess:

What does this legolas arrow do? :monkey1

Its a longer arrow that fits properly on Bows Bow(its the one on the fooshh review)...the one that comes with Bow is too short and I actually had the LOTR Legolas figure and he comes with 5 arrows...and I thought I'd offer 2 to someone here...(those who actually open their figures) :)
