For the most part i like this statue, but the face bugs me too, he just looks blank like he's staring into space, he's not as pasty or grissled as he was in the first preview pics, but not as bad as the current pics, his toes are soooo ugly, mine has a defect that i'll probably contact SSC about, the right hand blade is loose and dips lowed than it should showing the magnet underneath, i think this is a statue that needs to be viewed from far away not up close, where as statues like carnage looks great close-up.

Blame the factory for the "issues". One thing that bothers me is the paint sloppyness on some of the chains.

I have to agree that this statue need to be viewed from a distance. The chains on mine are horrible! And there are number of other places with excess paint and/or smears.

Its not a bad statue but it could be so much more with a higher quality control.

I think I'll be doing some touch up work on this one ... until then it goes to the back of the cabinet.

I got mine, and I love it. I just wish he was bigger. Why did SSC change the scale from 1/4?

Got mine today and I'm very pleased for the most part.
The one thing I would say is going to bug you when you get it is the size, It basically feels like a 12" statue on a 4" base. If it wasn't so wonderfully sculpted and eye-catching, I'd probably send it back, this thing should have towered some of the other pieces in my collection. He looks week next to other SS pieces so for now he's being displayed on his own on top of one of my Detolfs where by himself he looks stunning.

If you love the character, chances are you're going to find this one to be a keeper.

Most likely Sony and Sideshow had disagreements with the amount of money so they just cut the size to save on costs.

thanks for the pics. Magnificent statue but I have to agree with the paint app, it could be better.

HOLY CRAP!!! EX Number 6 arrived!!! My lowest SS number ever!!! WOOHOO!!! This piece is masterfully sculpted, but needs the tender loving care of a talented painter. The arm chains are the worst part of the paint. One solid color with noooo accent details. Got some paint rubs on his back and on the very tip of his nose. All in all a fantastic piece though...

I got mine yesterday. First Piece in perfect condition i receive in months. Finally! I wish it was a 1/4.
It looks great but cannot be displayed with 1/4s.
They could have done a better job painting it close to what they displayed at SDCC but i give it a 7 out of 10(Face, size and painting make him loose a point each)

our Kratos Excl nr 78. The only disappointing thing is the color of his shoulder paths/plating. It looks to fake. But the boots and skirt are amazing, why is the whole statue not like that :s. He is now back in the box like everything else until my collection corner is finished.

Got my Kratos yesterday, Number 93.

I love it and have no problem with the smaller scale, it still looks badass if you ask me.
The only problem I do have with it is the paint on the chains, weird that they managed to paint the ones on the blades perfectly but not the ones on the arms... :dunno

Anyway, here's my pic's

The chains look horrible.

If someone wants a better fix on that send me a PM.

Awesome statue otherwise.

Got my Excl today! #516 or so. Love it aside from the horrible paint on the arm chains... so sloppy and one layered. Also the swap out hands don't fit all that snug which worries me.
