Guys I have the one with the plastic abs + bicep armor that I got from Cocoboloboy. No leakage their yet although the trenches in the thighs look a little wetter than the rest, but it doesn't look like an issue. However I was worried about one thing. Does the belt touching the kevlar (silver looking part) have any effect on it?

Oh and the belt shouldn't have any effect.

hahaha it would appear so lol jk. In all honesty it truly is a wonderful figure. If you can snag a DCD version with hard parts I would take the chance. Another question should I do anything with the biceps. Cuz I hear ppl saying the hard ones have an affect on the arms even though mine havent leaked yet

I've got one from each batch - 3 total, 1st batch still leaks but I had the warped heads replaced, 2nd batch still leaks but I'm using it in my armoury dio so not a big deal

Have you lifted up the front to see if there's melted damage? usually when it's still oozing both the top and trousers are merging with the chemical reaction.

To my knowledge all that was fixed before the second batch was released. Which I believe was why there was a second batch, to fix those problems.

Edit: Glue spots and leaking oil I'm pretty sure have been the only constant issues.

So no more warped heads from the second batch on, aaight

Yeah.. They merged a while back

I'm done trying to fix them, I've made my peace with my leaky Batmen lol

And yeah, Seb did kill him - but he'll be reborn, stronger better faster etc lol

Hi guys Its my first time writing this post, been following this thread for quite sometime. Need an opinion/suggestions from anyone. Someone is willing to buy my BIB MMS71 Dark Knight v1 and i need to add around USD$82 for the DX02 which he intends to sell. Its new, but unfortunately it has an oily abs that comes with it. I still like the v1 except i dont intend to keep 2 batmans in my shelf. Im sure HT will try to add license from the new batman which will be out in 2012 and they already have the michael keaton's batman license.

The question is, isit a good bargain? Should I go ahead and sell my v1 batman and have that DX02 with an oily ab? Or should i hold the current one and wait for the 1989 batman and also the 2012 batman movie? Thanks guys, appreciate it very much

It all depends on what you want. How much are you getting for your V1 Batman? My instinct is to say no, don't buy a DX Batman that you know for a fact has oily abs. There's not much point in that. Furthermore, I think all these overpriced DX Batmans are going to plummet in value once The Dark Knight Rises comes out. Food for thought.
