Eh? I never said you did? Didn't even see you were posting his pics.

I have been linking his pics all day and was just giving credit to the video I just posted. :)

Whoops :p so maybe you didnt check out the pics I posted, scroll a page back and see, they show the Battle Damaged body and head from better angles and the figure looks so much better!

Oh I saw those and agree it looks superb there. Those aren't Eddie's pics anyway. :)

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I feel relieved now, that is still not the tweaked sculpt. The body looks a lot better, though that line on the side of the body is a bit distracting.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

They HAVE changed the Battle Damaged headsculpt and I think it looks awesome. It definitely stands upto Enterbay's quality. The Best Enterbay figure with Bruce Lee likeness is FoF and Kato, and in my opinion its up there with them...

Looks incredible in my opinion.
I dont agree about FOF being EBs best Bruce Lee likeness though...id give that to the ETD A version myself.

I'm stoked...this figure looks AMAZING. The SS ex being a few bucks more, is pretty much 2 figures in 1. Whats not to like?

Here's a video of the figures by Eddie Wong...

A lot of people tell me that the likeness is the best however if you watch the movie closely EtD B is still closer and his face is modelled on the scene where Bruce fights O'Hara. The EtD A's neutral face doesnt have the daunting badass look that Bruce had throughout the movie, the cheeks were less sunken in, the eyes lacked any character, the eyebrows too thick and the hairpiece was kinda weird. Bruce Lee looked too 'jovial' rather disinterested IMO and the paintjob was bad. The face paint looked like a girl all pasted with blusher and ready for Prom Night.

That face was still made better in the Nokia GoD with a much better repaint and the EtD B hairpiece. however for an onscreen accurate likeness I still believe FoF and Kato are the best. The paint detailing is MUCH better on them than the EtD figures.

I agree. The thing is that the paint job on the Enterbay figures is not as good as the Hot Toys figures. That can make an incredible difference on any figure. When you see any of the Enterbay Bruce, you can see an incredible likeness to Bruce from any angle, but with these Hot Toys sculpts, its really limited as to what angles really show the likeness. The paint job helps, but I doubt if it had either Sideshow or Enterbay paint jobs, the likeness would be there.

But I think Hot Toys will improve the sculpts as I read somewhere that they are still tweaking the sculpt. The body, again, was a huge improvement from the first proto.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I think this HS better than BD version.

I think so too. I think it looks good, but I would have preferred the non-bd headsculpt to have been with a closed mouth instead of the semi open one.

But hey, could have been worse.

These pics arent the most flattering (especially the 2nd) but I have no doubt this figure will still look awesome~

Oh no, those seams on his side/torso and laterally across his shoulder and up his neck are horrific. That's just UGLY!

That appears to be the original, unrevised body, so I wouldn't worry.

Not as if HT would ship production pieces like that either.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

HT's actual product and display pieces often differ, the former usually in better condition. This isn't the first time their display piece was falling apart.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

My question now is, would the figure fall apart like that with time? I keep mine displayed and pose them ocassionally and until now, they are all fine. The only one with a rubber body is T2 Arnold. I would be very angry if in 1 year, those lines started appearing on the figure.
