Hey guys!
Never posted here before, but always enjoyed your comments on the TMNT statues Anyways, I got my Leo in today and did a quick photoshoot comparing the old Playmates statues vs the new Sideshow ones. Personally, as a set I prefer the Playmates one. But as single statues, I prefer the Sideshow ones.

I put Leo on top of a small black box to give him some levity. Leo's bandana is darker than it shows in these pictures. Its actually a really nice, deep, rich blue. He's actually surprisingly much more heavy than the others. And the base of the statue doesn't feel as padded as the others, so I wouldn't drag it without tempting a scrape on your desk.

Still waiting for mine. Nice group shots...but I really dislike how the mousers are out of scale. maybe we can get a "cartoon colored" one as an ex with the Foot solider? BUT in scale?

I seen some as low as 275 and as high as 420. If you can find any for 300 or less go for it. You'll probably never see that price rage again now that all four are out. Plus some have best offer option so summit one and see. Can't hurt to try.

WOW.... I must say the pix here of Leo look much better than the ones that were on the SS Website. He just looks better and I'm SO glad I didn't cancel mine!

This will complete the 4-piece ex ensemble! Sadly gonna kill a bit of my Christmas money, but I can't afford to not get it with the resell hike on ebay.

Congrats to those that got him! I agree, all 4 ex or fail.

Could someone possibly take a side photo with the tip of Leo's bandana as close to the tip of Donatello's bow as possible? I'm trying to gauge height and I'm nervous Leo's not gonna fit anymore

Is anyone else having a problem with Leo's right hand? (the one in the back). I got mine and opened it up yesterday and when I put it in there is a HUGE gap between the hand and the wrist where the peg shows and stuff. Did I get some kind of defect?

Yours is fine, (I checked mine), I think what you need to do is gently twist while pushing in the fist. Make sure the base of his thumb is touching the part where his wristband is curved. (Id take a pic but all I have is my crappy camera phone). Remember to twist and push but be very gentle, thats how I did it.

I have tried this last night, the problem is there is no place to twist and push in more, as you can see in the second picture the rest of the hand is firmly pressed against the wrist. I tried twisting it (because the front/left hand can wiggle a bit if twisted side to side) but this one has no wiggle room and seems to just jut out. I will have to play with it again when I get home though.

Try it again, but I had a similar problem with Raph. The pin on the hand could be out of alignment, probably from the casting process, and it just wouldn't go in unless you force it and break something. Ask Sideshow if they could send you replacements.

I caught the UPS guy while he was delivering to my office. Even though the package was supposed to be delivered to home, he rummaged around and found it for me. YAY, Leo has arrived.
