#254 is perfect. At first it didn't light up, but one of the batteries was placed in the wrong direction, but it still didn't light up. I pressed down gently on the foot which made it flicker, then I rotated the foot slightly on the base and finally it lit up without flickering. Not very strong lights as people have said, but if you are lucky enough to get a perfect piece, it is one of the best! Get the EX if you can, the death mask is really well sculpted. Death came out nicely. I agree it's not really a dio but a two for one, this is one piece worth that's worth the money.

The broken shield on mine is actually a clean break (1 piece), I decided to glue it back and it looks just fine. The IG I got to start working by sanding the connecting pin like someone mentioned on here and now it works.

I'm going to wait to see what Sideshow wants to do before deciding to keep it or not.

#224 - shield busted in 3 pieces, 2 of death's righthand fingers snapped off, and a bunch of chalky substance all over the pieces. this is ridiculous. that's it, i feel like canceling my remaining 20+ preorders ... 4 of my last 5 pieces have had QC problems. oh ya, and the stupid christmas lights on the hockey glove don't light up ... lights on the glove ... dumb, should've had blazing eyes.

:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

Sorry to hear about this mate

Man all this talk was getting me worried. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the surfboard in place. I thought I was going to have trouble with the light till I realized the little piece of plastic keeing the battery from working :duh
This is one hell of a piece guys. Congrats to all the owners/future owners of this statue. :rock

Just opened mine. I like it, but do wish the lights were a little brighter on the gauntlet. Other than that, looks great. Problem is, too big, I either need to find another cabinet or sell some other stuff. I can't display him. :monkey2

Also, my exclusive didn't come with the exclusive print. Looked on all side of shipper box and inside the art box, no print. Guess I'll be contacting SS... again. :slap :slap :slap

hmmmmmmmmmmm this or punisher comiquette.............which is better?

Punisher, no question. While the base is really cool, Thanos is in a very unnatural pose. His pelvis and shoulders are in some mysterious forward thrust that just looks absurd from a side view.

There's a print with this one? I didn't think so.

EDIT: Double checked. There is no print.

#330 arrived today. It's a very good looking piece. Light up worked right away. The cap shield was in one piece and nothing broken. The only thing that seemed weird was that there was a white powder of residue on the base. It cleaned up fairly easy and this bed boy is now on display. MD turned out GREAT! She is a wickedly cool sculpt. Thanos is big and bad. I just wish they would have passed on the knee pads. Overall, these are 2 very well done pieces.

Mine came in also! #406, everything in working order, a slight paint chip on thors cape...but meh ill fix it myself. I had the powder also...im assuming the light feature was a late addition to the piece so it involved drilling the base...which is probably the reason it has so much dust on it.
I love the piece though, this is the thanos to have hands down

I agree this is the Thanos to have. The face looks great IMO and the paint looks great. The lights on mine are very bright. Could be the tungsten light I was in that made them look so bright though. They're just as bright as Man Things eyes if not brighter because of the different colors I guess. Only gripe is it's not 1/4 scale but that's ok because there will be a PF.....one day

Yea the lady death thing kindof threw me off, its the first thing I saw on the shipping box..I was like, I dont remmember ordering lady death..I do already have the ruby edition...:lol took me a few seocnds to see the "thanos" before it.
