damn i kinda regret cancelling. he is sweet. i really hope he hits second chance so i can use my points. PLEASE!

Flint is so bare bones (thus overpriced) I am not surprised with him. Whats the status of the FF ex? Thats probably a closer comparison.

Don't know how many will disagree with me but I will say it again.

Actually I think why Sideshow went for the sculpted route is because of their skills. Why would they want to release a clothed mask that you can remove since the rubber bands holding the mask will get loose someday (Like the bands on my Snake Eye's arms). Sideshow sculpt the masked on because it will look better than a clothed one. I don't really like a sewed one on my 1/6 head because it'll make their heads look enormous. You want a good looking balaclava with Beachhead's portrait inside? He'll have to be bald to achieve the tight round head. If they release Storm Shadow and Beachhead with a fabric mask. They will look more like a kitbash rather than a Sideshow release. You wouldn't want to pay premium for a kitbash right?

I have to agree with you Mr. McDuck. Flint is seriously lacking, hell even a chest rig would have been cooler for alternate display.

So if plain logistics is the reason they went sculpted instead of cloth, what does that have to do with their skill?

:lecture:lecture:lecture That aspect of his post doesn't make much sense. It'd take more skill to provide both an accurate looking sculpted mask and a bare head (as they've done here), than halfass it with a basic head and cloth balaclava. For the most part though, I agree with his post. Like cloth berets, I have yet to see a 1:6 cloth balaclava pulled off perfectly.

Since they are good in sculpting why not let consumers pay for sculpted goods instead of clothed ones? Sculpted ones will look alot better than the latter. No matter which materials you're using or how thin the threads are. The seams will be huge and overall it'll still look over sized, Snake Eyes is a good example of it. Why would Snake Eyes sell? Because he's Snake Eyes!

I think both Beachhead and Dusty are going to set a new standard.

They show a continued awesomeness in this line for sure. For me personally I think each release has been better than the last. As great as Duke and Flint are Beachhead looks even better and I think Dusty will be even better than Beachhead.

I don't think the cherry impostor is better than SE or CC. And while the Sniper is cool, I don't think he's better than the other troopers.

The only thing I wanna know is how did you get your hands on Beachhead already? :impatient:

Fair enough.

I agree on CC for what its worth. I like the figure but I like the other figures more. I do like the snipers a lot though but if I was gonna do anything military wise I'd want to be a sniper. So I'm biased.
