I was thinking about starting a thread for LC Sallah to get some ideas going. I haven't had time to start a parts search on LC Sallah yet but I want to.

Damn u Flos, that's my secret store :tap

There's SOOO many great military 1/6th part stores. It's the licenced stuff that's a paint to get.

LC Sallah will be tough, that's for sure, but I think one is good enough for me anyway.

I don't think the suit will be too bad it is going to be the tie that is a pain in the ass to find. Most likely would need to make one.

That's a definite. Oddly enough, you can buy one 1:1 (Magnoli Clothiers) but finding one in 1/6 is impossible. I'll bet you could commission someone on the board to paint one up if you don't have the skills.

If I have something to go off, I might be able to paint up the tie. I can paint somewhat.

Meanwhile, as others dicuss that "other" Sallah.... :lol

Got my 'reeds' from Michaels today. I think they should work great for the torch, but who knows until you try. Project for this weekend.

I have no idea what they're called -- they were in the 'twig' section of Michaels where they have various 'sticks' and 'twigs' and stuff for floral arrangements. Just dug around until I found something that looked about right in color and scale. They come in little bunches about two feet long or so.

I need to stop by Michael's to get some pastels later in the week so I'll pick some of this stuff up too. What does it look like Greg?

It's just like very thin, dried, tall grass... mine came with cheesy beading here and there which I can just pull off. I'll take a pic tonight when I get home.

But again, I haven't tried to build this thing yet so I'm always hesitant to recommend until I know something will work.

No worries. I'll know if I want to use it or not as soon as I see it.... I'm honestly really happy with the toothpick torch I made Sunday. I need to post better pics of that sometime soon.

The Indy section has definitely become my other favorite section, though I find myself lurking in the horror sect a lot too. :lol
