I just thought of something. Do you think SS will release a new modern Wolverine comiquette to pair up with the rest of the X-MEN line up? Colossus and Nightcrawler are in modern costumes. I'm sure the rest of the line up will be released in modern costumes to complete the line. The 1st Wolverine comiquette costume will not match up with the rest of the line up.

I wonder if SS will do something to correct the discrepancy in costumes?

Sure do.

Modern version for the comiquette. I am looking forward to the modern light-up Cyclop comiquette to go with Colossus comiquette.

Jim Lee style X-Men for the PF. I am looking forward to the Jim Lee Rogue PF to go with the Gambit PF.

I just wonder because SS has consistently neglected the comiquette line. They have shown they don't give a damn about scale in their comiquette line. It wouldn't suprise me if they didn't care what costume Wolverine would wear in the X-MEN comiquette line up.

I can't say much about scale....its a continuous issue and I don't concentrate my collection on one line or one character. All I know is I want to collect a few certain chars from a few line(Marvel, DC, etc.). Too expensive to collect all X-Men.

As for Wolverine, I wouldn't be surprise if they make a modern version comiquette. But not anytime soon since they just pushed out Wolverine PF and X-Force.

they will eventually, but it'll be the one he wears now

You would think, right? It would have to be the one he's wearing now in order to fit in with the others in the line.

That would be interesting for one reason. If they make a Wolvie comiquette wearing his current costume that would be 2 comiquettes of the same character. If they don't just modify Ray's original comiquette, that means we'll have 2 completely different comiquettes of the same character. I know there has been 2 PF's made of the same character, but those were just changes in the costume, not all new sculpts.

An all new Wolvie comiquette opens the door to other characters having a 2nd comiquette made of the same character. If you didn't care for the modern costumes on the current X-MEN, this would allow you to hope that maybe a classic Byrne line may be announced some time down the line. This is a door I would love to have SS open. I'm loving all the possibilities of this happening.:panic::hi5:

Why did they decide to go smaller on these. I just read they are a smaller scale than premium formats? Colossus needs to be big to make him work.

Reps from SS have openly stated they see NO DIFFERENCE :slap between 1/5 and 1/4 scale. They have proven this by releasing 1/5 (size of most comiquettes) and 1/4 (Venom & Silver Surfer) scale comiquettes.

This is an ongoing problem for comiquette collectors that SS seems indifferent to. This is a HUGE problem for me as I just collect comiquettes. My Silver Surfer comiquette will more than likely be LARGER than my upcoming Thanos dio. Not good!

It is also a problem for anyone who has a mix of PFs and comiquettes in their collection.

In general, it's a big problem that SS has shown they will do nothing about.

Are they crazy? I love the 1/4 scale comiquettes and look forward to the polystone cloth that look really good. We should start something to tell them how we feel. 1/5 is just too small and in the middle of everything. Why do they do this? :cuckoo:

Believe me, SS knows how we feel. Many people here have voiced their displeasure with SS. It has been debated up and down this forum and MANY others.

SS just doesn't care. Everything they make eventually sells out. They have no motivation to change anything and are ambivalent to our requests.:gah:

filip is on the money. SS doesn't give a damn cause the 1/5 scale still sells out so they have no incentive to listen to fans that want comiquettes in 1/4 scale.

They will not know until the small 1/5 scale do not do well. Stop buying them and use the 'ask sideshow' to voice concern.

Sorry but that's a big problem for me. I won't buy PFs because I don't like them. SS makes it difficult on collectors like me.

Just look at some of the pieces in this line. Wolverine, Hulk, Spidey, Punisher, Iron Man, etc... Those are beautiful sculpts. It's impossible for me to pass on those pieces:rotfl

I would LOVE to say NO! However, when I see these great pieces I break down every time.:slap

Understood. Very hard to be selective and they know that. We still should actively voice our concerns if nothing.

1000% Agreed. We shouldn't let them off the hook.

I'm just afraid by the time they do something about it I'll have too many 1/5 scale pieces already! SS just loves making things difficult.

i wish SS would've switched and did the 1/5 line in PF and 1/4 line in comiquettes.

for me 1/4 scale is more important so i try my best to stick to 1/4 scale. so far 2 comiquettes leaked into my collection, punisher and wolverine.

My friend, I support your line of thinking. Still, my feeling is that 1/5 scale will go the way for 1/6 scale eventually. They are churning them out in large numbers to be overtaken by bigger and nicer ones. Gambit and Cyclops look good and they will not make a 1/5 scale Gambit because he will do badly. We have to make a last stand as they only understand money.
