I just came across this on the old internet and it deals with the new Ape Film. If it can be believed... there are many spoilers in this, so read at your own peril!

They say there will be some mentions of Taylor and the Icarus flight in the new film.

Wouldn't it be great if the new film ends with Taylor giving the opening soliloquy where he says: "You... who are reading me now are a different breed... I hope a better one"

Then the next shot is back on earth, in a ravaged city and we see Caesar and other apes receiving Taylors final signal.

Well after many many months in the Forbidden Zone I was only able to find this one obscure item. It looks like a DVD release but I never saw one with the POTA ship. I wonder if you could put the DVD's in the ship?

Well, it's just my opinion but from the contents of the spoiler, I think it will be another dissapointment. I would much rather see the originals on the big screen since I have never seen any of them on the screen.

I am disappointed that there has not even been any mention of Hot Toys still having/continuing the POTA license. I know its a pipedream to think they would get to every character when Sideshow dind't even do that, but with all of their newly acquired licenses, it would be nice to know that some of the others [POTA, POTA, POTA] may still see some creative light shone on them.
Wookster, if you still visit here , have you heard how far back on the shelf any Apes plans might be?

More apes are more then needed. I'll take some different faced gorillas, being as all you need do is sculpt a new face plate for them. Chimps would be great and yes, even an orangutan or two would be welcomed.

I would like to see a venture into the TV series. A 12 inch Burke and Virdon and Galen would be cool!

I'll take any gorillas!! I would have thought that just keeping the soldier ape available would be good for anyone wanting to either jump into the line or wanting to expand their 1:6 garrison.
I don't think Angel ever jumped into getting the HT's but I would have love to have seen what he might've done changing the faces around and such.

I imagine that a Hot Toys DX Astro/Slave Taylor is already in the works. I'm hoping we hear something soon. Think of what HT could do with the Mutants.

Here's Dylan helping mommy out. Zira is not yet ready for foam latex (she's drying out in the sun), so I want to get another positive going to sculpt on. Wish me luck this Saturday, guys. I'm going to try to run some foam latex if the weather cooperates. I thnk I only need a stopwatch, rubber spatulas, and an oven thermometer, stuff I can purchase in a grocery store. When the sun is out, it's in the mid 70s and humidity is only 40-50% !!

It would be cool if Hot Toys can make Dr. Zaius wearing his Armageddon outfit. He needs to be able to ride alongside their wonderful General Ursus.

Still gunning for the chimps from Hot Toys. If they can get the hair right, I'm all over them.

I don't think the fanbase is wide enough to include the TV series, even though Hot Toys did a gorilla Captain.

I've forgotten how hot and humid it could be here on the east coast.

Trip to MD, PA, and maybe VA are set. Gettysburg, Fredericksburg, Shapsburg, and Manasas, is set for the 16th - 24th.
