The more I mess with these, the more I like them. Great bang for the buck factor on these. I kinda want to go back to TRU and get the other classic they had. I have a feeling it will be gone by the time I can get there though.

Yeah, I need to get a friend a Classic, I told him to go to TRU at 10 AM but he is still doubtful even though he had them check the SKU and Item #.... Furious, if you need another set I may have one if a deal goes through.

Sorry about the crummy cell phone pic, but here's my repainted Mr. Black. Basically a lot of heavy dry brushing of a dark green. I tried to leave some of the spots visible through the paint, and I may add some red in later. Also did his legs and arms. The arms didn't need it, but I wanted to uniform the green a bit. Not accurate or anything, but neither was the factory paint job. This is the lesser of two evils, I think it looks much better. I imagine the updated paintjob on the unmasked Mr. Black may look something simple like this.

in one youtube review on the classic pred, it looks like the classic is painted with gloss to give him a 'wet' effect. but in other photos i've seen of him there dont appear to have that glossy paint effect. which one is the correct one?

ordered falconer n classic, but still cant get over the polka dots on berserker to want to order him. too bad i'm not much of a painter.

Very nice repaint. By the way don't you hang out at Michael-Myers.net?

That's NECA for ya. Can't wait until they release the unmasked Berserker, Tracker, and the P2 Preds. Then I'll have a sweet NECA collection to match my HT stuff :yess:. 2010 is the year of the Predator fo' sho'!

I like the contrast between the more amphibian-like classic and the more dry-reptilian super preds.. not really pertaining to any subject going on at the moment but I thought I'd point it out...

Its all good, just now I realized I took all of my Classic pictures with the head on on properly. Straight from the package his head was popped up too high on the neck peg. Easy fix, just push on the head until you hear a satisfactory "POP!"

Gnarly work, dude! Love the repaint.

@Macularius: Awesome pics... First one has a neat lighting effect. Shame the shot wasn't crisper :(.

Elder thanks for that video, may come in useful if mine has a dodgy knee joint! (When they eventually become avaliable here...)
