Yeah I have one too, and it took me 5 minutes to look through all the ones at TRU to get one with the best paint. I love the sculpt, but the bubble gum thing on his right cheek bothers me. It is an ace figure though, especially for the price.
:lol Yeah I always pick through to find the best one!

I must look nutz with a big stack of duplicate figures being sorted out into best worst/piles until I come down to the best one! :cuckoo: :lol

P.S. You got my last PM right?

Sure did. Thanks bro. PM me anytime :hi5:

hey guys, just wanted to show the potential the medi joker head has with a pretty good repaint on it. i didn't repaint this though, just saw it on ebay. this made me want to get the medi joker and try a repaint on it myself, but i think i'd go with an interrogation scene repaint. enjoy

The nearest TRU is almost 2 hours away, so I ended up ordering two from the website. Luckily the one with the knife had a good paintjob, so I kept that one boxed. The other one required a little touch-up to look right to me. The photo I posted doesn't really do it justice.

When I do make it to a TRU location, I'm just as crazy as you guys. Hell, I'll grab a ladder and start breakiing into cases if I feel the need.

Looking at this figure tonight, it amazes me how a company that was once the pick of the litter could release something that has been met with such disdain. A situation that could have been easily averted, as the mod photos clearly show.

Even with all the Mods it still doesn't compare with the stock DX Joker. So ultimately, it wouldn't have mattered much. :lol

I never said it did. I paid $50 for this, and at that cost, with the minor mods, I'm pleased.

As for the DX, the portrait doesn't compare to the V.2 in my opinion. Unless disproportionately large eyes are your thing...

I'm impressed with the changes you made. It looks much better. The body looks really skinny though...almost like a little boy wearing his dads clothing. Have you tried using any other bodies?

I never said it did.

Um.. huh!? You said:

And I replied that even if the stock Medicom figure would've looked exactly like your modded figure people still wouldn't have liked it or preferred it over the DX or even the v.1 with the Bank Robber Joker head.

disproportionately large eyes > disproportionate body overall

Are you comparing the dx to the v2?
There's nothing really wrong with the v2 body. That figure is pretty flawless. The only gripe I remember is like the shows and maybe the buttons...Idk.

The V2 joker was definitely the most fun I've had with a 1:6 figure; buying it, opening it, owning it.

The DX I got and set up and the eye thing fell out the back and I had to fix it and meh. I like the figure alot but I've been sort of a afraid to touch it.

I might pick up some of the lower end jokers and try putting some real hair on them..and the see if I have the balls to touch my hot toys jokers.

I think all of them have their positive points. Here is a photo of a DCD repaint that someone sold on ebay about a year ago, and it shows how good it can be with a little effort:
