Well, after seeing this in the movie thread, I can see why NECA is just using the P1 sculpt as the "classic" Predator figure for their PREDATORS figure line.

The only thing that sucks is it will have the blast marks on it's armor that the P1 has, but this one doesn't in the film.
And this one doesn't have the bone necklace and chest strap that the figure will have.

Huh. Will it have a different paint deco? Surely they have to differentiate it somehow otherwise some people won't bother buying the figure again when its released as the original Predator later on.

My guess is that it might be mask only and come with Predators weapons.

This isn't a new Predator. It's the classic Predator, RR's nod to the original movie design. The new Preds are Falconer, Berzerker, and Mr. Black (or whatevr they're called).
