Only after the exclusive sells out does everyone seem to want it :lol

Before the PPO it was all, 'just another lame stand', 'pass', and the like. Why the change of mind guys?

For me, it was just like the others have said. All my clones (save for the Phase 1s) have the white stands so it was more for consistancy sake I wanted these ones too.

Isn't that always the way? :lol

I ordered the exclusive, but might just go for a regular one someplace cheaper.

So THIS was the thing that I kept thinking "I'm forgetting something..." all day about. Damn it!!! Waitlisted.

Can someone please tell me why this clone was a PPO, even the exclusive is just another lame stand?

so how quick did this one go? i missed it. got on the waitlist a half hour after it went on sale. hopefully it converts cuz all my other troopers have the white stand. i'd hate to have him stand out from the rest.

About 10 minutes.

And as for those who wonder why the PPO for this figure - It seems to me that some of you might be missing the point of the PPO (or maybe I am). The exclusive item is not the reward for being a subsciber and customer...the chance to order early is. Whatever the exclusive item is is just a perk. And it seems to me that is why the regular goes up on the PPO after the exclusive and that the PPO ends after two hours or when the frenzy has died down...whichever comes first (dead frenzies seem to have ended the PPOs within about 1/2 hour lately).

I don't see it that way at all. The Ex. is an extra that you can only get with the Ex. edition, which is usually significantly less produced than the regular. I don't think it really matters to folks getting a piece slightly earlier than others, it's about getting the exclusive item that most collectors are not going to get. It usually comes down to getting your order in within those first 10 minutes or hoping for a WL conversion. I don't think people would go out of their way like they do to be on for a PPO if the only gain were getting it a little sooner.

didnt Sideshow say that PPO's are for products they think need the streamline process because of popularity. like PF jack sparrow you know a lot of people were interested in that. and this clone is the 501st version so thats one of the more popular clones (even though MY fav is the shock trooper)

Yeah, its usually done for figures that will generate a lot of interest. The 501st is one of the most demanded clones out there so it makes sense. I expect clones like Cody, Rex, Bly, Neo, Gree will too.

Yes , me too , I want to see the five commanders , these can be tremendous ......

I'm not one for stands as exclusives, but it does cut down on the complaining. It also makes sense because it really isn't a vital added piece to the product. Those that want the exclusive label get it and those that may have missed it won't feel like they really missed out on something. There will always be those die-hards that have to have the exclusive version, but these stands are not essential. So in a way I do love these stands because it means I can buy from a retailer for less and (for me) not feel that I've missed out on something.

Especially I want to see the Neyo and Bly , and then Gree and Baccara .( Cody already we know that goes out first )

The cool thing about the commanders is the different styles they had and how much they will set apart from the other clones.

So where are these vaders fist clones from? I havent herd of them before seeing them on sideshow.

Just didnt know they were called vaders fist. This might be my first star wars 12inch.

"Vader's Fist" is a nod to the 501st...a group of fans who outfit themselves in stormtrooper/Imperial attire and have garrisons all over the world. They attend conventions, charaty events (most notably "Make a Wish") and provide a great social outlet for a great group of hardcore Star Wars fans....

You can read about them here...

When it came time for Episode III, it was a natural that the legion of blue-striped Clones of the 501st that accompany the newly-knighted Sith Lord Darth Vader on his death-dealing mission to the Jedi Temple would forever more be known as "Vader's Fist"....
