Well it's not their fault people aren't happy, I think it looks fine. It's not as if the Rancor came out pink or some catastrophic mishap occurred, it seems like a typical proto-production change.

Yeah, but the Rancor is brown, it always has been. It might as well be pink if they're going to change it to a different color.

I have to say I've never been so pissed to NOT spend $280. I felt the same way when Jabba came and the paintjob was so much different then the proto. But the Rancor's paint is unacceptable since I can pay less and get the GG statue that is more accurate, a full body statue, and includes a base with the keeper.

I'm actually quite sad. I even waitlisted this guy and got converted and everything.

Also, when I cancelled the order I made sure they put a note to say it was because of the paint.

It looks like browns in it, to me it looks to have a better skin coloration mix to it than the GG statue. Looks pretty close to this shot to me.

Well, I just canceled it and got hit with the Flexpay cancellation fee.

You would think that they could start waving these fees in instances like this.

I emailed and explained why I canceled. I wrote that I felt it was unfair to be hit with a $40 fee, as I was unhappy with the final product. I got a response to say that they would reduce the fee to $20.

I'm happy with that. One thing you can always count on with SS is great customer service.

I just got mind and quite frankly I think it is awful. I hate busts. Don't own any busts. Well, I now own a damn bust holding some little tiny characters. I should have cancelled. Sometimes I really hate being a completist. Sideshow is messing up alot lately.

I don't own the dio, but in those pics it looks predominantly green to me. I never thought there was any green to the Rancor (besides what's coming out of its nose ).

I think that the factory did a horrible job positioning the Rancor "bust" on the post. Here are pics of my freshly delivered diorama. Check out the tilt on this thing. It is a tiny step away from falling right over. This thing is going back.

Fortunately, Sideshow's customer service dept has been very helpful in the past, and continued to be helpful today. They are going to try and find a replacement with proper center of gravity.
