Hmmmm.....since it'd be the only shot to get a comic styled Bats I'd probably buy him....maybe Joker but that's a big maybe. Ivy is smexy but I probably wouldn't pay HT prices for her.

Hot damn the game is incredible. It's like THE defining batman game. Just awesome, the idea, the script, story, location, the fights, the detectiveness. VERY VERY well done on all accounts, not to mention the villians! Just love it, i'd probably by Batman, Joker and Harlee, just because she's gorgeous hehe!

batman, joker, harley, hell poison ivy she is sexy as hell in the game, and titan joker which is just insane looking and the mannequin doll guy they have in the game is just pure awsome tho it should be a accessory for the joker figure.

the game itself is pure win, the final boss battle is epic hard, and all the characters look amazing, you can tell this is one super hero/batman game that everyone worked on it loved the character and the material, did not hurt at all that one of the best writers from batman the animated series wrote the script and so many of the voices from the show did the voice acting, amazing game period.

I'd buy them all.. I do hope Hot Toys gives more attention to their Video Game Masterpiece line.. So far, they've only churned out Resident Evil ones.

Nothing's wrong with the Resident Evil figures.. I'm just saying that it's the only video game Hot Toys has derived figures from.

The more I think about it, I would prefer DC Direct making these than any other company. DCD could give the sculpts the size differences and detail these designs would need without collectors having to break the bank to buy them.
While HT versions would be very nice indeed, they would need to make roughly 17"-18" bodies for some of the characters and I'd dread to think how much they would cost!
Plus HT aren't really known for full character line-ups so no doubt we'd only get one or two of the main villains.
With DCD we'd have a good shot of getting all of the characters in great sculpts plus characters from the game sequel too. I hope someone from DCD is reading this!
I love the game and the designs so much (even though I cant beat it on 100% grrrrr) I hope we do eventualy get figures from it.

haha, funny, since i was about to say the same thing. the character designs for this game was seriously top notch. imagine a 9'' killer croc, aa sleek creepy joker, nurse outfit hottie harley!

It is just a tragedy this game doesn't have figures from someone. DCD should have jumped on it even before it came out. Even if the game sucked, the character designs were great. But the fact the game was one of the best of the year, it only makes it that worse.

And yeah, HT's 'video game' line is a bunch of crap until they release something other than Resident Evil. Its just a RE line! I mean there are plenty of video game characters they could do withouth needing entirely new bodies - Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Hitman, and many of the characters in Arkham Ayslum. Joker could use a taller version of the slim body and Batman a shorter Wesker body, but other than Bane and Croc they wouldn't really need to design anything new. Just give us Batman, Joker, Harely, Ivey, and Scarecrow and we could call it good.

DCD on the other hand better give us just about everyone.

I still don't get why HT hasn't jumped on this licence yet,the fact that this was one of the best games of the year,as Buttmunch said,not to mention there is a sequel in the works which means more toys=more $$$$ for HT.Plus,factor in the success of The Dark Knight figures, and it's just beyond me why they haven't done this yet.

Other than license problems there really shouldn't be a reasony why they shouldn't be making these. But DCD has no excuse!

Another reason these would be awesome is that it is probably the closest thing we could get to comic versions of Batman characters done by Hot Toys. I mean they are really just 3D versions of the comic looks anyway. This is my new Grail license for someone to pick up!
