Hot Toys - MMS DX 01- The Dark Knight - The Joker spec and pics

I just received my Joker - my first Hot Toys figure to actually receive. I have BD IM and DX Batman on order - but ordered Joker Tuesday and he arrived yesterday. I haven't had a chance to open him yet but I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, on with my question... Can I just get an extra body somewhere and have 2 complete Joker figures - Police and the setup with the grenades? If so, any suggestions where I can get an extra body and how much it would run? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

check ebay and search for HOT TOYS TRUE TYPE. theres 2 different kinds a narrow shoulder and a regular shoulder. the clothes on the joker dx clown and cop are tailored for the narrow shoulder however, putting the clown costume on a regular true type body gives the effect of broad shoulders which is perfect if you are going for the Heath hunched look. even tho the clothes are designed for a narrow they work fine with a regular. you can then use the narrow shoulder that u recived with your dx figure to dress the cop joker as he works perfectly with a narrow shoulder - theres loads of pics in this thread of everyone experimenting with different combos of regular and narrow to achieve the desired look so just have a flick back thru the pages

Finally. Got my extra DX01 parts after my Monkeydepot shipment dissapeared on me (still disbuting via paypal ) and put together my extra DX01 display setup. Now make another small case and chop of that neck and its done

Oh I always wanted to recreate that display of just the clothing. I already have 2 DX02s, one with PERS fully clothed and one with BR head no coat/jacket so I just needed pants, vest, shoes& sock to make this one as I had extra TT and shirt&tie due to picking up the BillyBs Just need to fix the neck and make a case and I am done with Jokers the figures

The hair mod length/style looks good, but the colour is far too vivid a green for my liking.

Modding or new figures. Personally I hope this line is done for until the next film. I still feel I'm in 2008 here with buying The Dark Knight figs.

It'll never end, it's one of those iconic things like the terminator 'impression' is the word i'll use. - That people will just continue redoing and redoing for years to come. Hell, i even reckon if they made another factory HT joker figure, at least 51/100 people would buy it.

Btw, it is funny, that TDK was 2008 and the figures are still being sold and/or only just released (DX bats for eg). It sounds like ages, and it is, but doesn't seem that long?! How on earth did we endure the wait for these figures?! LOL.
I was seriously contemplating making my collection joker only/exclusive, one could never have enough imho, but the other figures i own are just too cool in their own right. Just the 1/6th bug, once it's bitten, it sticks. Personally, i only ever wanted to buy the V1 joker. Hah, remember those days, when THAT was all we had

OK, just received my Narrow True-Type and I'm currently trying install everything on it. Someone wanna fill me in on what I'm missing here? JFC, the head obviously won't fit, the feet sockets don't fit into the shoes either, only the freakin' hands seem to fit fine. What's up with that? Am I supposed to buy some sort of adapter for the head and others for the shoes?

Not sure what the problem is, the parts should go right on as is. Was the TrueType packaged or a loose item bought off eBay or something.
