Alright, 24 hours after I moved my display across the room away from the TV (heat source), and I've got zero, zilch, nada residue on the abs. I had a slight hunch that maybe part of the source was the "mesh" armor behind/under the ab plates because it always had a shinier finish than the plates themselves, and maybe it was leaking from them and onto the plates somehow. So I applied a mix of black acrylic paint and sealer to both the plates and the underlying armor, and there has been no leakage from either the plates or the armor itself in 24 hours. This is a huge, huge change from what I was experiencing before the paint application and moving the figure, as I would have to clean it off once every 3-4 hours.

I too had some luck with the repositioning of my Batman. No further issues yesterday or as of this morning. For now, I'm going to assume that the source of my moisture buildup was the heat I'd exposed it to.

Some great pics however I can't load them all. I'd advise you break the pics into multiple posts or resize them. Just a thought cause some people don't have great connections.
How hot or cold does the room need to be to get oil?

For me, it wasn't even room temp, the only side of him affected was the one facing the ambient heat off my computer monitor. My room is average temps, like low 70's, but my computer monitor can really overheat sometimes.

Hmmmmmmm. Well i'm hoping i'll be okay then. My setup is in the basement BUT inside a Detolf equiped with LED lights.

I can't imagine LED lights being an issue, my experience with them is that they don't give off heat.

Nah, I think you'll be fine. LED's don't really give off any heat past a centimeter.

(Almost makes me want to pick him up, but I don't think I will ever because I can't tolerate the mismatched pants with the burned face/jacket!)
