Since I just posted a ridiculously long wish list in the Hot Toys DX thread... Why not make another one?

What Hot Toys Robot would you like to see the most?

My vote would be between the ABC Warrior and Johnny 5. I've wanted a Johnny figure ever since I saw the little remote controlled ones in Short Circuit 2!!!

What's funny is that all the poll choices belong to movies that either suck or are merely mediocre. Hot Toys could do better.

Agreed. Except of course for Short Circuit. But those are my favorite Robot designs that haven't already been done. Guess I should have said "Movie Robots"

Don't get me wrong. Some of those bots have awesome designs. It's just a shame they belong to not-so-good movies.

Those would be AMAZING...with LIGHTS! WOW!

I voted for Robocain, if only to complete my Robo set. I have Rob and ED, just need a good Cain!

Other than that, I also like the idea of Grievous...

Does Iron Monger count? Guess not since it's not really a 'robot', more a suit...but still...we NEED an HT Iron Monger!!!

3A has the license to do 2000AD character, so you probably will see ABC warrior from 3A before HTs. And Johnny 5 (though i loved the movie as a kid) well, I just don't see any company would approach that robot now.

I picked Johnny 5 from that list, but of all movie robots, I would go with Ash and Bishop. Mechagodzilla could also be cool.

The Black Hole bots would be sweet, so would Huey, Dewey, & Louie from Silent Running. Love those guys.

But, I wouldn't really consider Bishop and Ash to be "robot" figures. They'd just be people figures to me. But how amazing would a 1/6 scale MECHAGODZILLA be!?!?

Yeah, it's pretty weird that a lot of the coolest looking robots are in such craptastic movies. I wonder why that is? But besides Robocop 1, Terminator 2, and Star Wars OT I'm having trouble thinking of any GOOD movies with really sweet looking robots in them.
