diamond or SS or whoever shipped theirs last week because the comic shops got em. I like it a lot, other than her boobs being too large.

My only real problem with this figure is the loose outfit, Its understandable that it needs to have room for movement, but in her crotch area, it's especially bad, she looks like she's wearing a diaper.

That's a weird definition of ugly, unless ugly = gorgeous. The likeness is awesome, and Silk Spectre was never ugly in the movie.

There was discussion in the DX Batman thread about HT always having stella costumes but the head sculpts used to let them down. This is a weird example where the headsculpt is great (especially the rooted hair) and the costume lets the figure down a little by being too baggy.

IMO she is an awesome figure, head is not to big or small wen you see it, though this not as tight as it could be the outfit is ok in all but the pelvis area, it looks like a diaper indeed im afraid.

yeah, the head looks fine in person in fact there is a full fig pic of Akerman in the outfit on the inner box which is pretty much 1/6th scale, hold the figure next to it and you see how close the proportuions are.
I just finished reviewing her and pointed out that the outfit is about as tight as you dare go if you want any articulation at all. I also link to an article HERE about the making of the outfit, the sites worth a good look over... if you get my drift. The fact that the company Syren said it was one ot the most complex outfits they had worked on at 1/1 shows how well Harue have done at 1/6th.

I suppose the material Hot Toys have used is considerably thicker. Latex would not have been a good choice I would imagine.
I think its an amazing effort though. I still think the overcoat is amazing as well.

When will we see your review, (and your Wesker and Sheva one for that matter - I want to see how you thought they measured up)?

I don't think they could have made the outfit any better, if it was thin and truly skintight (or plastic tight) people would already be complaining about tears. they could have however given her another body and paint it on, keep the black parts the cloth/material but that probably wouldn't look right either.

Mikes had Wesker and Sheva for a while, so it should be up soon I hope, but I just sent the ALIEN in last week as well. I shall be taking pics for Silk tomorrow night (it's my wifes birthday today so I don't think she'd appreciate me doing the pics tonight).
Without giving too much away I'll cut and paste what I said abiout the material-
Well Harue Creative took on the task for them, they’ve tried, and they’ve pulled it off as realistically as I think is probably possible at this scale. But where as the actual outfit was made of semi transparent latex, which has to be welted and glued on its seams, they went for a more manageable plastic coated fabric that can be sewn. It can’t however get as ultra skin-tight as latex, and doesn’t have its semi-transparent quality.

Really this should be a easy mod just replace the shorts with a different material like spandex or something

All these crazy customs i see on here and you tell me this is what stumps you guys

Quite.

Yeah I'll go for that. I think also the proportions of the base body somewhat exacerbate the overall look.
