New Ghostbusters Figures

I actually like GB2 a lot,
the whole atmosphere, the ghosts, the story-line, the setting...
But, the whole Statue of Liberty crap I don't...
Viggo was a badass..

exactly... they made the statue of liberty walk... by squirting it with 'happy goo'??? oh purleeze!!!!

ok the statue of liberty walking was just silly....but also pretty funny, especially the way they did it, like its made of stone and yet it can climb and bend and everything lol. ok so GB 2 wasnt as "realistic" as the first movie, but as far as im concerned they are both pretty out there with the concepts, GB2 a little more so. but to me they are equal to each other. only thing that could REALLY ruin the series is makeing GB 3 and haveing a "new" cast of busters. HELL FREAKING NO!

Err...you DO know that the Statue of Liberty is made from copper plate over a steel frame, right? Copper is a softer metal, but I'm sure there would have been plenty of structural damage when they were done(hence the "Nikes in her size" comment).

Anyway...I never thought it was that bad a movie. Not up to par with the first, but not god-awful as far as sequels go.

Specially considering at the end in the wide shot that everybody is chanting (the people outside the museum) You can see Lady liberty LYING DOWN THE STREET NEXT TO THE MOSEUM!!!!!!!!!! IT'S like when the gbs jumped from the statue's head in the ropes into the museum , the statue went : "Ok , it's time for me to take a nap!"

Hehhee. So yeah, i guess the reason for me to complaint is that i love those movies and had a good time watching them , and still do!

4.) Regarding Ghostbusters, can you give fans who are collecting this line some reassurances that all 4 Ghostbusters WILL be made available, in standard (i.e., non-slimed) uniforms? With Venkman being the most popular yet the last of the four to come out, after Walter Peck, some collectors are concerned the line might be canceled prior to all of the announced releases coming out.



The line is doing great and all of the major and minor characters announced will be coming out. Look for Venkman in the second half of 2010. See our SDCC fan panel presentation (on Facebook) for all the details!

Unless they release packaged pics on Facebook, and they don't do that for all figures,

They seem to get figures in advance for reviews...

Egon looks very nice. Maybe a repaint can improve the final result

yeah i think the egon sculpt is not bad, far better than the ray one anyway.

yeah, actually the other 3 gbs look pretty decent to me... I wont be changing the heads as for now (we'll see when they arrive).

I will upgrade the parts, that's for sure , but I think that Egon, Winston and Murray look ok.

The Mattel sculpts look OK if you're going with an intended comedic feel for your display to match that of the film. I'm less critical of these sculpts because its a comedy.

That said, I intend to replace the sculpts for accuracy sake, and to match my total display better.

I wonder if 12 inch Ray comes with slimed head, and regular head, that you can switch... check on the pic that there is another peter head on a stick... kind of creapy
