Finally finished my Storm Shadow mod. Can't get over how much more I like him now, didn't think that was possible from an already badass figure. Meanwhile in 1984...
Still might paint those black straps on his feet. Keep forgetting about them actually. The "claws" under the feet a great touch of detail. This son of ^^^^^ is ready to scail walls!

Karm, I used two different sizes of elastic strips I got from Wal-Mart.
I'll take some more pics with the Commander tomorrow. Really gotta my damn Snake Eyes done now.

They put the sight on the side they do because that's where your eye lines up with the arrow. You don't choose the side based on where the sight is. You choose it based on where your eye is relative to the hand you draw with. Left draw, left eye. The way the bow is now, he can't see where he's shooting because he's drawing with his left and sighting with his right. There is no line of sight between his eye and the target. It would almost be like aiming a rifle upside down. (The real problem isn't that the bow is wrong, it's that the hands are backwards.)
And that's why it got brought up in the first place. Not that it matters. I could give a rat's ass. What's amazing is that I don't care about that, but I'm expected to care if the dirt on a Sandtrooper is a little dark. Yeah right.

I had been wondering why Storm Shadow needed a sniper sight. I thought that was Zartan's M.O.
Yeah they put the sight on the wrong side of the bow for the hands he was given. Not really a big deal but I did notice the error as soon as I started posing him with the bow.

Im sure you could pop the sight out and spin it round if you thought it was necessary.
I think it is all one molded piece. To do that would require breakage and glueage.
