What's the point of a clean version helmet and chest plate if the arms and legs of the figure are already battle damaged?

the hell is the VIP? I want crushed helmet!!!

Any exclusives are reserved for Hot Toys VIP buyers. You have to order something like ten figures direct from Hot Toys, in advance, to be eligible, I believe.

Most of Hot Toys distributors, therefore, qualify, so you can only get them from ebay. The other option is that Sideshow have a deal going, so they, also, get these exclusives. It totally sucks if either of those options is restrictive in any way.

The official site indicates "+ Damaged helmet as accessory", this is the crushed helmet right? So does it mean its a standard item or an exclusive item for the VIP members?

There is a clean helmet, damaged helmet, and an exclusive crushed helmet. The regular figure wont come with the crushed helmet. VIP members will have a choice of regular or exclusive, just like those ordering from Sideshow, while they're available.

The first two helmets will be the
- Non-damaged Iron Man helmet with light-up eyes function, and
-Authentic likeness of Robert Downey Jr. as TONY STARK, in damaged helmet with removable mask.

The third one (crushed) helmet should be the "damaged helmet as accessory"
Correct? :angelsmil

Nope. The first two are what comes with the regular. The exclusive comes with the third, crushed helmet. You could say the regular comes with the clean helmet, and the damaged helmet is the accessory.

You'll be able to get it, at a cost. It's just a matter of which costs you the least, depending upon your country. Ebay or Sideshow. Your choice.

Oh I see. I looked at the description for Mark II and there is no indication on the pedestal display bust which was exclusive. So I thought since the "crushed helmet" is indicated in the BD Mark III, it should be a standard item instead. :(:(

Thanks for the clarification.

Then I think its quite misleading to include it in the item description.
My supplier is also unsure of it and is checking with Hot Toys.

The description and pictures only show the damaged and undamaged masks-

l Authentic and detailed fully realized IRON MAN
l Stands approximately 30 cm tall
l Over 36 points of articulation
l Special features on the armor:
n Metal-like painting with scratches finishing
n Light up glowing eyes and Micro ARC reactor on chest (battery operated)
n Expendable wrist gauntlet (as shield)
n Ejective shoulder mounted micro munitions pod
n Retractable countermeasure dispenser
n Fully deployed Air Flaps at back of the armor with built-in metal flaps
n Re-engineered AirBrake deployment system
n Working forearms rocket
n Two interchangeable chest armors
l Seven pieces of interchangeable hands, including light up replusor palms
l Damaged helmet as accessory
l Alternate heads:
- Authentic likeness of Robert Downey Jr. as TONY STARK, in damaged helmet with removable mask
- Non-damaged Iron Man helmet with light-up eyes function
l Deluxe Iron Man figure base

The crushed helmet is the VIP exclusive, and as far as I know has only been shown in the Toy Hunters shop display-

so the clean helmet lights up, but the one with the scratches on has the stark headsculpt inside and therefore doesnt... right?

If so thats' a shame... as the scratched one would've been what i'd display it with.

Ya agree. They shouldn't include the clean helmet, this way all the different versions will be more unique.

Yes I agree, but I rarely switch on the lights of my Clean MKIII unless guests are round.
