Did many people have these?

i had a few sectaurs. i remember when cobra la came out i used them with my Gi joes. Until i realized how lame cobra la was.

Oh man, there were just so many. I used to buy pretty much anything I'd find in the bargain bins. Anyway, this is just off the top of my head.

- Barnyard Commandos: Like Food Fighters and Army Ants, only this time it was armed sheep versus armed pigs (I think).
- Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Surprised no-one mentioned these. They weren't based on the cartoon but had some cool character designs.

And two that I can't remember their names.

- One was comprised of roughly 1:1 scale military accessories, like a pistol, canteen or machete, but they'd transform into small base-like playsets and came with small PVC figures in either solid tan or black.
- Another line was comprised strictly of small military vehicles and you'd buy them in three-packs. They were made of diecast metal for the most part, and you could also buy much larger "motherships" to which the smaller vehicles would attach. There were jets, tanks and VTOLs, and one out of each three pack would be a special leader version, which would be slightly different from the other two.

Kudos to whoever remembered the Trash Bag Bunch. I think I still have the complete collection of PVC figures from that line lying around somewhere...

Really?..those figures were everywhere when i was a kid. They made great throwing weapons as well, being made with die-cast and all...and those solid rubber WWF figures were deadly if you threw them at some other kid as well.

yeah, I guess this thread has turned into a "name any 80's toyline you can think of regardless of it being obscure or not" thread.

Bionic Six were everywhere. And I agree, deadly weapons they were!

i never understood the logic behind Rock Lords. i mean, they were basically a transformer that turned into a rock. at least real transformers turned into something practical. what can a rock do?

Maybe they were like guardians or something. You think they're just rocks and you're walking along then BOOM you're surrounded by giants rock robot people things. I'd be scared.

Took me awhile, but I finally remember Food Fighters. Those things were awesome. I had the taco and the hot dog. I think I had a barnyard commando too. God that theme song sucked.

Found one of them. They were called Army Gear.

Bronze Bombers, Sky Commanders, Starcom, Army Ants and Cowboys of Moo Mesa or something like that.

My brother and our cousin had the Army Gear stuff, it wasn't bad if you were into Micro Machines and those types of things.

Maybe it's been said already, but what was that insect toyline that had "features" where your hand in a glove was part of the vehicle or playset? I t was right after thundercats, and I think before transformers.

May have been answered, may have not. but that toyline was Sectaurs

I did see the movie GoBots Vs Rocklords in theatre long long time ago.I think they were cool, especially the chromed gold one.I mean their transformation makes a good shape to throw anyone who says GoBots/Rocklords suck and Transformers are where its at!. lol
