Medicom Joker

Here's what I don't understand about Medicom (and please don't flame me, I'm still sorta new at this). Why are their figures so expensive? Seriously, I see these as a happy medium between DC Direct and Hot Toys. If this Joker were in the $80-90 range I predict that he'd sell a lot better. I just don't know how this could possibly cost more than a Hot Toys figure. Is it quality of materials used?

no, not unbelievable, just plain ridiculous. if they had it for (a lot) less money i would buy it in an instant and customize it just is i will one day customize dc joker. but as buttmunch just said, dc's joker is waaaay better. the paind on dc is o.k. but the facial sculpt is actually one of the best. it looks like ledger. with a good repaint, it looks great. i would venture to say that even some of the best painters on this site would have trouble making this (medicom's) joker's face look like ledger...without sculpting extra.

Thats IS easily the WORST figure i've seen in years, in no way is there anything positive to say about it!

Have you ever started something and then like half way through literally given up on it? Does this fit within that scenario?

I like the color of the Medicom coat better, but the material is crap. Just a bad figure all around.

The only thing I like about it over the HT figure is that his outfit is purple.

There is no detail whatsoever to that sculpt. And it looks like no one that has ever played the Joker.
