Deadpool is one of my all time favorite characters. I think I have just about every book he is in. I am looking forward to the face off with Norman Osborn.

I used to love Rob Liefield's style and art as well, until I found out his anatomy was totally off, and how the guy can't draw hands. His eyes are way too small and separated on his characters' faces. Can't help but notice how every character in Rob's universe is void of any emotion and look like they all came from the same family. I suppose one can argue that his world of super heroes come from an alternate universe, where everyone is related by blood, sisters and brothers.... Oh, can you imagine the incest? It's the deep south universe! Like mentioned before, the baby feet with those big long legs that would make a super model on steroids jealous.

I guess a lot of us were fooled before because as youngsters we tend to be attracted to details... and he definitely had that in his work.

Liefeld's art can't get much worse than this.

I totally love this character...but yet, I know NOTHING about him. My interest perked up once the ML came out, and I could never find it.

So heres my question...whats the best comic to start with? If I want to get the whole story, where should I start, and end?

You're not missing much.

He's just a wannabe Deathstroke IMO.

He's THE most over rated Marvel character.

I agree..... Mix Spider-man, Wolverine and Deathstroke and you got DEADPOOL....People loves him cause he breaks the 4th wall....I think he's boring and now like wolverine or Lobo back in the days, writers make him do the impossible just cause he's popular.Very unoriginal and Bad character IMO.

I guess he's cool for someone who does not know much about comics but theres better characters out there.

He's fun. That's really all that matters. is he a great character? no, but it's still entertaining. I guess we could consider him the comic book equivilant of a popcorn movie.
Even so, I've literaly read just about every Deadpool appearnce from New mutants # 98 on. Loved it. ALL of it. Yes, even the Liefield stuff.

oh god, that was a GREAT comic. OH! Don't forget if you're reading deadpool you need to eventualy pick up the Agent X comics as well.

so I picked up the 2 I said I was gonna get and also picked up C&D vol. 3 & 7 and I had Wolverine Origins 21-25, until I saw Wolverine Origins vol. 5 so that made my day:D I remember Deadpool #1 was the very last comic I bought in middle school back then so it's nice to know he's still an enjoyable character.

Any particular Agent X trade paperbacks I should be on the lookout for?

ahh, thanks. I'll check next week or whenever I can get back to the comic shop. I have a feeling I'll wanna collect the rest of the C&D and Wolverine:Origins trade paperbacks anyway.
