Well, we know now how the Hot Toys shipments work-

When figures are first released they go to their store in Hong Kong, then small shipments go out to a few sellers. A month later big shipments go out to major sellers and finish the shipments for the smaller sellers.

But--animate didn't tell anyone that, instead when they were scheduled to get their first small shipment they told everyone that they would be shipping the next week. They also continued to make Ebay listings with saying it was In Stock. Then they slowly started to mail them out to people, however, of course, they don't have nearly enough to fullfill all the orders they had, so when people got mad when the shipments weren't going out they started just shipping to whomever was threatening them the most.

Then they shipped airmail to everyone even when people paid for EMS, and even though they told people they'd refund the difference they never did. Took me a month from when they first said they'd be shipping until I finally got my tracking number. Which (btw) they had actually shipped two days before I got my tracking number, I only got it after asking when it would be shipped.

Screw them, they deserve it.

This is the other part that made me never to shop with them. I was originally before the first Joker fig got released.

All pre-orders will require full payment of all merchandise ordered, including shipping charges, at the time the pre-order is placed.

You could be out of pocket for a long time, and from their dodgy business practices it's a serious no no. And from the sounds of it a month for a refund for one fig... imagine with multiple... and TDK vehicles.

That's just how the Batman shipment worked. It doesn't always pan out like that. It went a bit askew like this for the Cannibal Jack, if I remember correctly. So it's okay to screw someone over when you think you can get away with it.

It does sound like the way he conducts himself is dodgy. I'm not against collectors warning each other. What you seem to be naive to, is that the up front payment of price plus shipping is the way almost all the Asians do business. This is how Hot Toys gets a return (your money) on their investment (the promised figure). It keeps their financial outlay to a minimum, whilst they guage the popularity of a figure, to shoot for an approximate edition size. Cutting down on shelf warming and encouraging quick turnover of product and profit.

Yeah, this animate sounds like a businessman that patches it together as he goes along. Thanks for the tip, I'm sure people here will give him a wide berth.

Now enough of this Batman and the joker business, and back to the star of the show The Invincible Ironman.

Ok. So basically animate-international is a NO! NO! Seems that nobody here had a positive experience with them on hot toys.

The truth is....... I am Ironman.

My friend I spoke with Ryan from www.cornerstorecomics.com, he says Iron Man is different thing, because SIDESHOW is good when they order, this means HOT TOYS made good number from this item and we get our Iron Man in Feb. first week, is no the same like DC with TDK line, I have big situation with my order TDK, J1 and BRJ from www.statuetoys.com for that reason I ask Ryan about it.:(

Sideshow's site has it listed as March, so we'll probably be seeing it the first week of March.

On Hot Toys site they said they'd have them out before January 26th, so around the beginning of March Sideshow should be getting theirs in.

If you don't want to wait for the extra month you can try and find one from the people that will get the first shipments .

The rumors havce been circulating that the Mark 03 would be split shipped. With HT saying January and SSC saying March it just proves that. I got one from Toys2 and one from Joe and I'll be one happy soul in about three weeks. :rock

I would put money on the fact that next week we'll see some in hand pics from Asian based collectors.
