Nothing for me this year I think, was hoping for some PT related ships but happy for those that are eyeing a few of these ships.

The hammerhead corvette and T-6 Shuttle were strange choices to me.

Where are these available? I don't see them on their site.

So pre-orders go up usually go up Saturday mornings at 12:00 pm EST, and you have a 5 minute window (someone quote me if I'm wrong) to get your pre-order in.

So if you're signed up for their e-mail updates, you'll get an e-mail a few days prior to the pre-order going up notifying you that the statue/ship is going up that Saturday.

Spot on.

Their models are gorgeous… First time seeing these today. I’m very much out-priced, maybe some day in the future I could have one. Their T-4 shuttle is real neat, especially since you could get both versions, Palps and Vader’s, as a bundle for mere $2000.

Congrats on the AT-AT! MYC's models truly are works of art and worth every penny, IMO. I don't have the room to invest in all of his models so the only two I'm getting are the Slave I (coming in March, I believe) and the Falcon (PO in March). Every one I've seen thus far, including the Sandcrawler that is up for PO this Saturday is absolute perfection!

The pace of their releases is nearly overwhelming, a far cry from any other company working at this scale. For me receiving an AT-AT, shuttle, Slave-1, cloud city, and a sandcrawler within one calendar year will be amazing - and shipping within a year of preorder is nearly incredible.

Looks amazing!

I held out for PT ships, I regret not pulling the trigger on the AT-AT, especially with that snow base. I have their Tie and its such a beaut.

I'm glad I was able to get one. I wasn't aware the AT-AT existed until a year after PO was over. I reached out to MYC and asked if they had any extras, I got lucky.

No more!

MYC is pursuing different paths.

I am sure that’s is not the May the 4th Announcement that most of you been looking for, nor is it something that I ever wanted to announce.

Firstly, let me take the time to thank each and every one who has supported the endeavors of MYC Sculptures.
From its inception, the goal was to bring a product that reaches the inner child of all. As husband and father of two beautiful children, it has truly been a joy to bring to life sculptures of my own childhood.

The main source of inspiration comes from a now 12-year daughter who were diagnosed with autism. With a love that knows no limits, my daughter brings me joy, however with the extreme characteristics of her autism, she needs our constant involvement. Many things you would expect a 12-year-old daughter to perform, Sophia, cannot independently function without the daily and constant support of my wife and I. Ultimately, it is the utmost important that any success that can be found through my endeavors, will ensure a quality life for my children long into their adulthood, even when we as parents are not around anymore.

We as a family, like to thank all of you out there. I cannot put in words how grateful I am and how supportive all of you been. It fills my heart with joy to know that I made other peoples’ dreams come true.
Through all this time, I felt nothing but love, acceptance and appreciation for me, my work and ideas. MYC was never just about business. Many of us became friends and we also shared difficult times in life. This franchise brought us all together and made us family. A strong Community sharing the same passion.

In providing low edition sizes and providing a need that did not exist; all hope was that the model of my business could continue. As the brand grew, the issue of Rightsholders and licensing has now come into the forefront.

It is with a heavy heart, I announce, from this moment on MYC won’t release any new products that might be in infringement with Rightsholders.

To all who have anything outstanding with me, you will be contacted.

The journey has been incredible and for every door that closes, another opens.

May the Force be with you all.

I knew something was up these past couple of weeks and figured that MYC finally got enough notoriety that the mouse took notice. It's a sad day as his pieces were head and shoulders better than anything other statue companies offered and the pricing wasn't ridiculous. Sure, it was pricey, but you were paying $800 for a 1 of 100 statue versus that for a 1 of 2000. Michael was always humble and gracious and his contribution to my collection (and delayed retirement plans) are enormous! MTFBWY MYC!

Sad day, and family comes first but Disney surely had a hand in this.

They had such a huge slate for this year and with how close they were to revealing the Falcon, they wouldn't just end it all right there.

Unfortunate, especially with how long they've been around for. I really wish I bit the bullet and grabbed the AT-AT now.

Damn that really sucks. I only started hearing about them very recently, but was super impressed by every piece I saw. I guess selling fully built and painted SW kits probably was a bit risky though, compared to the unpainted kits most other people offer.

I think when they started with ships and word spread about the quality, a big ear perked up, shortly after a white gloved hand picked up the phone and then he, she, it, they, whatever the hell they call themselves went back to hugging kids. Happily knowing that took some more fun out of being a Star Wars fan.

Best of luck to him and his family.

Though I understand why, it’s too bad that Diz is quick to shutter rather than assimilate proven talent. They might learn a thing or two about what fans/customers want.
