I think people might be getting ahead of themselves. Ford has always done whatever it takes to promote his most current project, but doesn't give a flip about any of his old stuff. So I'll still be surprised if we get any more Han or Indy figures.

Young Indy is also in the new movie. So maybe there is hope.

And what's all this talk about HT hating Harrison Ford? I don't pay a lot of attention to HT anymore.
Ford destroyed a Hot Toys Han Solo as a joke on the Jimmy Fallon Show a few years ago. Everyone assumes Howard Chan was offended, but I think it was good publicity for Hot Toys.

If you're a hard core Indy fan and have all the others I'd say it would be cool to get this one regardless if you like the movie. Indy through the years.

That's true. The 5 Indys.

Thankfully I never bought the Sideshow refrigerator Indy from Crystal Skull or I would have to get this.

Still... once this is released in two years, I may try to find a deal on it. I expect there will be plenty around.

I'm seeing the movie in a few hours time:whip

I'll probably pick this version up as i'm a sucker for Indy/Ford...good, bad or indifferent.

Love the head sculpt and weathered jacket. Hopefully they tweak the hat and make it a tad bigger before production.

Looking at this pic i can only imagine what a Raiders or Temple figure would look like with a similiar looking base that represented each movie:pray:

As a figure that represents Indy it looks great. It looks like an old Indy. Hell, it even stands like an old Indy. Maulfan posted a movie poster and this figure captures that perfectly. It's just not the indy I want. Interested in parts.

Love Kit, but… 413$ dollars for the deluxe? Retail price should be under 300€. No?
At Sideshow, I’m assuming the deluxe is gonna be $375 and the standard will be $285. You’re looking at $413 and $313 all in at OSK vs what I’m assuming will be ~$430 and ~$331 at Sideshow. (These are based on buying in the US)
Not a massive savings, but a good option if you want to avoid Sideshow.

If they did all of them heres the display bases i would want.

Raiders: golden idol again of course
Temple: rope bridge or something temple related, maybe the temple head with the stones?
Last crusade: something grail temple related
Crystal skull: the fridge. I'm being serious

Man this new indy gives me excitement for the prospect of other indys and maybe even some villains, and sidekicks. I would love a sallah and marion and henry jones. I would love a belloq or toht or mola ram. It would be sick as. I know it's never gonna happen, but hopefully at the least we get a younger indy even if it's cg de aged indy. Hot toys never did indy justice. Please do him justice! These are movies are timeless classics and sorely under-represented in 1/6th scale. Ik sideshow made a bunch back in 2008-2009 but they're old and never looked all that great

Indy standing on a giant fridge:LOL:

It's prefect. Day 1 pre order
I was so happy back then to get an actual Toht (and Belloq) figure.
I will admit the toht looked cool, melting head looked nice. Belloq was just a laugh it didn't look like him at all. But much like sideshows bond line, it's still the only way to get half those figures

No interest in this monstrosity but it gives hope of some proper Ford figures.
I don’t want to be like this, but I have almost 0 interest in Geriatric Jones. This is not how I want to remember the character. If it’s this, or nothing, I will rely upon my fond memories of the only 3 IJ flicks and pocket the cash.

The fact there are TWO movies with an older indiana jones is ridiculous. Shoulda stopped at 3. It was a perfect ending. Also indy is very much a product of the 80s, even though it's set in the 30s and is supposed to be those pulpy action serials. Making a movie like that today wouldn't be as successful because the audience isn't there for it, and dumb fun action movies about serials of the 30s and 40s don't really fit in today's hollywood. Or maybe I'm wrong. I feel like even an indy reboot wouldn't make it better either
