I actually love the DX portrait. Ill be tossing my display between the DX head and the classic bio.
Indeed I really love the unmasked deluxe portrait it's just really a shame they didn't throw in unmasked closed mouth portrait to all statue versions for that price range. Oh well I keep on reading how expensive this Predator license actually is. Would really like to see a direct comparison between the different licenses...

Thinking about going direct with the DX Bonus Edition.

Pros: Get it sooner. They may sort economy shipping to the UK. Get any extras they may add. Only 10% deposit. Chance of only paying 5% V.A.T.

Cons: Shipping may rise but that's an easy cancel then hope local retailers have stock. Conversion rates could change drastically. Local order is a guaranteed fixed price.

Wrecking my head as I need this order in the bag.

Just thought of another advantage, Reward Points to use on the 1:3 P2! LOL!

This has been my thinking all along. I'm just looking at my prime 1 account now. Including my City hunter reward points, I've got $1593 already paid towards my 1/4 JH which I can cancel for a full refund at any time. That would certainly take a huge sting out of the bulk of the cost for this.

Does anyone has a:1-1:ny experience with this particular retailer?? Seem to have slightly smaller gouging prices within the EU.

@ Collectorcol if you pull the trigger I do advise you to get the DX bonus super duper version. Honestly if you have any doubts right now there is a great chance you may regret it later down the road. The amount of $$$ is ridiculous anyway. Some members here bought the regular version and sound 100% satisfied to me with their picks and that's where you should be. You sound being on the fence...
Problem with Bunker is they can't give you a shipping price until they receive it.
3 large boxes won't be cheap.

You would also get a 19% reduction which will be counteracted when our Government get their hands on it. Matt Hancock will be pleased.

I was surprised to read they offer 5% in rewards. Not bad.

As crazy as it sounds I wouldn’t take the extra stuff for another £100 personally. I just wouldn’t display any of it. I want it clean and straight out of the movie scene. That’s why I want the bio on the floor. If there is one scene for me that sums up the predator franchise it’s that face reveal and roar.

If the shoulder canon isn't removable then screen accuracy goes out the window when displaying the unmasked portrait.:monkey1:chase

The cannon will be removable, there are 2 display options with the DX, they wouldn't ship with it attached but the whole backpack is probably fixed to the statue.

How did you get the adjustment?
Was it a simple email to UPS pointing out the correct HC? Did they simply agree and refund?
5% V.A.T would make the choice pretty simple.
I Phoned them, got sent a form via email that I had to fill in to say it was a limited collectible, i then had to ring them again the following morning after a failed delivery to get them to adjust it to the correct rate.

What doesn’t help is that I got a text from UPS saying that it was due to be delivered the next day before I’d even gotten my Prime 1 shipped notification, so it must have shipped several days beforehand. You also don’t get any invoice, etc from Prime 1 via email, so you have to get hold of UPS to get a copy of that too. So you can’t get a head start on it before it’s due to land on your doorstep.

It’s a bit of a faff, but you’d be looking a saving about £300 on this 1/3.

Not yet mate, sorry, I thought I'd messaged you. All I seem to do atm is work so I sometimes forget. I didn't have any luck at all with the guy who's email address you gave me, he just said that isn't his department. Fortunately I did manage to get through to them on the phone (Finally!) The lady gave me an email address to put in a dispute. I haven't heard anything back yet however. TBH, I can take the hit on the City Hunter, I paid £130ish duty which was less than I expected to pay anyway. But it would be nice to get it back, and knowing that 5% duty is possible would make it a lot easier ordering the hugely expensive 1/3 Jungle hunter.
No need to apologise mate, hopefully someone will get back to you very soon with a nice £100 refund. Work sucks at times, but remember, more work = more pennies to spend of goodies.

I’ve had to email UPS again last night as they’ve sent me an invoice for the 20% duty on my CH.

Gotta say for the price, if this wasn’t one of the few statues I’d always dreamed of, I wouldn’t have pulled the trigger given the ES is 999 on the deluxe alone and not even announced on the reg. That’s ridiculous. Have any other Prime 1 pieces sold out with similar numbers on the deluxe pieces? I don’t keep up with the hobby enough to know. These aren’t cheap.

Haha even if it isn’t, I can cope with something extra but not something missing. 😂
The Reg is by far the best value as it would cost over £2,500 direct then you have to add V.A.T so CDUK priced that option reasonably. I'd probably settle for that it the Bio on the portrait was simply removable. (Pretty sure that's how it came on the 1:4 piece).
Did you order from Lee?

Edit: The Bio portrait must be removable to insert batteries. Surely that could be laid on the base making the extra loose Bio redundant.
Reg direct (at today's exchange rate) is £3,080 with 20% V.A.T and £2,694 with 5%.
Can order now for £2,725 fixed price, no stress. Am I talking myself into the Reg locally?
I need to lie down for a bit... :chillpill:
