Would the Boba Fett show be set in the same time frame as The Mandalorian? I'd be lying if I said I was excited about a series starring Temuera Morrison. Maybe 20 years ago, but not now.

Its reportedly set sometime between ROTJ and The Mandalorian. I would probably guess almost immediately after showing Boba escaping, then maybe a time skip.

So having seen Boba alive and well in the Mandalorian.

We now know he survives all the adventures of the series without a shot being fired.

Bit rubbish really, like in the spider episode when Mando says "If you hadn't guessed, we're in a tight spot."

Audience was thinking episode 2, nah, not really!

Complete contrast to episode 4 where there was genuine concern for Cara, Greef and the Smurf fish thing as they escaped.

Okay so not so bothered if the Mythrol becomes a casualty but they have shown they are not scared to kill off beloved characters.

I would love to see more scenes with the Imperials, Gideon's background (how he acquired that dark saber), current plan and motives, and obviously the mastermind Thrawn.

Yeah honestly I'd be content just with a few flashbacks in one of the upcoming Mando episodes. Of all the potential spinoffs they could make (Ahsoka, Bo-Katan etc), a Boba Fett spinoff is the least interesting to me. Since it would basically be the current show... but with more bounty hunting. Lol

I agree. Double dipping in the Mando well will only water down both shows.

I’ve been hearing that too but it’d suck if that was the case because it means he probably won’t have his armor unless they shove in a convoluted story about extra sets of “boba armor.” This season gave enough of a hint that Boba is at least armorless and has his set in his crosshairs. It’d feel cheap to ret-con that already and and say he had a second set on under those Tusken robes at the end of the first episode.
