Just arrived. Second head does not come with a neck adapter to fit the peg. Anyone else?

I may have gotten an unfinished one maybe. Its not the worst thing as the hands and body can be replaced.

my 1st release looks really shocking, not a fan but i felt his crazy expression fits him beside Leon.

by looking at the picture, seems the paint app is very different from the 1st.

mine the mouth you even can see saliva inside.

Thanks, yeah who knows eh? Glad I helped you out, might have to replace body and hands.

the body is unique, does it feel heavy? coz the 1st edition is really heavy & solid.

Got him in a few days ago and man is he great or what? Definitely value for money here I tells ya. :lecture

Being really busy I have not had the time to have a real look at him or time to futz him/pose him right so these pics are pretty basic until I have him looking right -

Some pics of the alternative head sculpt -

Here's Johnny! :panic:

anyway a bump on the 1st release. the reissue looks nothing like it though, maybe it's the LED bulbs.

Re: Review of Craftone 1/6 scale Shocking Guy

Broke down and ordered one of these off the 'Bay. I wonder how difficult it would be to make a custom Wendy Torrance?

Re: Review of Craftone 1/6 scale Shocking Guy

If you find a good Shelley Duvall head, please let me know!!

I'm a big Stephen King fan, but don't actually own any 1/6th scale figures. Now that the reissue has been out awhile, what are people's thoughts? Is it worth $160? From nosing around on the internet, I'm getting the impression that the reissue was a little bit 'rushed' and not quite as nice as the original, but maybe someone with in-hand experience can chime in here?

Don't know about $160. Just scored one for $110. I haven't received it yet, but don't think I'll complain much.

Grabbed one of these for around $120 toward the end of last year and it is one of my favorite figures...I was not expecting to like it as much as I did but I am a huge Kubrick fan and The Shining is one of my all time favorite films...the pictures do not do this figure justice and it is much better in hand!

It depends on what you like. I have one of the first releases. The heads on these have the ultra realistic sculpted detail and paint scheme many seem to like, but the likeness to Nicholson just isn't there for me. Its great as a figure of a Torrance cosplayer. I chose to upgrade the heads. Others mileage may vary.

I have this guy and just got the ballooman head. I Changed the body to a normal neckless one, tried with the neck adapter but it looks like he has a short neck. Dont know if it could be that the clothes were made to the Craftone weird and specific body. Anyone tried to put the clothes in a new body? I will try to post more pics later

Yeah, I can see that. With a little water treatment and some adjustment here and there, they can be made to sit better.
