I guess it depends on what timeline the tv show focuses on and I'll admit that I've stayed away from any sort of spoilers as I would like to be surprised by everything when it premieres just as I was oblivious to everything the Mandalorian was about until I finally watched it. With that said, it was my understanding that once Maul finds out he's on Tatooine, he tracks him down to duel with Obi-wan one last time where Obi-wan kills him. So I guess if the show takes place before Rebels, then yea he won't show up, but if it's after then there is a possibility we'll see Maul. That's also why I said it would be a matter of when he will appear not if. It might not be S1 or even S2 but I think there is a strong possibility for him to show up at some point.

But if its after how will we see him if he is dead? . I just cant see him showing up in any way other than a flashback or a vision unless they plan on breaking continuity.

You're right! I couldn't remember where I saw the animated bit of the final duel between the two (it was in my brain but couldn't place it), and it was on Rebels. my bad

oh well there goes that... I understand it's wishful thinking, but I still think it would be awesome to have him on the show considering the history they have. That few strikes take down was a little underwhelming for me. But then you'd have to include Ezra who I always found annoying so maybe that's not the best avenue to go down after all

Either way, the show could end with Maul fighting old Ben either the same way Rebels did it with one strike or something more elaborate. At the end of the day, none of us know for sure. It would be cool to see it in live action rather than the short bit that there was on Rebels. I remember (now) being quite unsatisfied with how that duel went down. I expected something epic, but instead it seemed lack luster. I get that Obi-wan is pretty powerful at that stage even being older, but I couldn't help being like "That's it?" I understand it's wishful thinking, but I still think it would be awesome to have him on the show considering the history they have.

The duel is actually pretty good if you look into it. Maul goes in overly confident and angry. Obi-Wan is calm and collected. He uses his classic ROTS stance to begin with then decides to switch to Qui-Gons stance (for bait) which Maul takes as an opportunity for an easy kill. Maul then tries to do what he did to Qui-Gon, smacking him with the hilt, but since Obi-Wan is anticipating those move he just cuts through the hilt, and subsequently, Maul.

Its symbolic, although not a flashy lightsaber duel I like it. Obi-Wan even says before the fight ?look what I have risen above?.

He uses his classic ROTS stance to begin with then decides to switch to Qui-Gons stance (for bait) which Maul takes as an opportunity for an easy kill. Yes, I remember it now. I edited my comment, but you were ready it seems I prefer the cool flashy lightsaber duels. That's why I still think ROTS Anakin vs Obiwan is still the best live action duel. Such a great display of their abilities with a lightsaber. I appreciate the good convo during my break though

Haha, I?m supposed to be working but I?d rather talk about Star Wars instead . I do hope we see more Maul in the future though, plenty of room between Clone Wars and Solo and a few years between Solo and Rebels too.

If there is a time to show an end of the line Maul, it would certainly be in the obi wans series. The timing would line up. They could reenact that final confrontation and Mauls final words. Maybe a few seasons down the line

There isn't going to be a few seasons though. It's a limited mini-series, last I read anyway. It's also apparently set in 11BBY, the final duel happens in 2BBY, so timing doesn't line up if that information is correct.

Was charged yesterday just spoke to sideshow the said they will ship next week or so ! Why charge is it?s not in ? Don?t get it. I?ll check again if it doesn?t ship by Tuesday

I sure hope Sideshow shipped this out today. Will be a week ago tomorrow this charged. I wonder what the holdup/confusion is?

In the past when that happened there was delays at the port.

This was published last week,

I totally understand. I hadn't been in the Star Wars section for a very long time since I had sold all my original Sideshow SW figures about 8 years ago. However, having now sold all of my live-action DC figures, my interest in SW has resurfaced and I linger around here more often as I remember how much I enjoy talking Star Wars.

In situations like this where they have charged over a week in advance they really should email a $25 off a future purchase or something like that.

it's not a big deal. If you consider the normal release time in HK to ship time from SS it is still shipping probably a couple months earlier than expected anyway.
