Here are my stunt and hero helmets on the same stand (thicker padding in the Hero so it sits higher).

Measured the width of the neck opening and the hero is about 2 cm wider.

For some reason the bug eyed Stormtrooper looks very weird to me... have there been movie troopers with bug eyes and never noticed before?

I do not like the lenses that are protruding out of the mask, the flat lenses look much better to my eyes.

It?s One of those things once you notice you can?t unsee it.

The Bubble lenses are screen accurate to the Hero helmets, like the ones Luke/Han wore (and a few others).

WOW! You are truly correct, I cannot unsee it... and I never noticed it in the movies, that is why it is shocking to my eyes.

And once again... as long as you like/love it... that is all that matters. I mean I love my Hasbro Black Series - Stormtrooper... as it looks screen accurate enough to my eyes... while that Hasbro Darth Vader is pure crap to my eyes.

For those who have Tie Pilot helmets, do they fit inside a Detolf? Considering buying one from RS but space is limited.

Bubble lenses are not just present on some Stormtrooper helmets, but also on TIE Pilots and AT-AT Drivers

They do fit in a detolf (width), but you do have to remove or replace a glass plate since the height of the helmet is more than one of the four detolf spaces.

Is that with or without a stand? Would it fit without a stand height wise?

That includes a stand, I don't think it will fit without a stand either. The TIE helmet is just bigger in all dimensions than a Stormtrooper one.

It will fit in a Detolf without modifying shelf height without a stand. It's not a comfortable fit and has to be tilted forward a bit. I've tried it, at least on the bottom shelf.

Well I think my DL-44 collection is done with this, my newest acquisition. It's a Todd's Costume ANH weathered & battle worn Han Solo hero blaster. The attention to detail on this is amazing. I'm blown away by the scope. You can't focus it, but it works! This thing is a beast!

The build quality is spectacular. I could not be happier to have this in my collection.

Glad you finally got you Hero jkno!

Amazing blaster, their blasters are super Nice.

Looks great jkno! Based on your pics, the width and finish look the same as mine. I think it's different lighting that can make it look shinier.

Darthrusty - love Todd's DL44 blaster. I would love to get one, but am afraid it would get seized in UK customs.
