Got the Loot Launcher set today. I avoided spoilers so didn’t know what to expect beyond Splinter and the shirt because Randy from NECA was wearing it in his interview with Pixel Dan at Toy Fair and said it was the shirt. I dunno, the box is okay. Definitely is heavy on Foot items. Kind of expected more from it. I’ll wear the shirt and the figure is cool so I guess they pretty much pay for the box.
 
I will drop this conversation if it starts to bother people, but is anyone else a fan of the Rise of the TMNT show and toys? It's not what I grew up with but it is funny, and the story gets better as you follow it along. It's really different than their original incarnation but on it's own, it's still goofy fun in either case. If I understand things correctly, both the show and toys are cancelled?

Even people who don't like the show and toys must admit the sewer playset was impressive, no?

I don't like it. To many changes for it to be interesting to me. The Turtles being different species, not brothers, Raph being leader and etc. Just not my kinda of Turtles. I think I hate it lol.
 
I like some ideas of the design changes but thought they went overboard with it, like how Raphael is a Hulk etc. If you like it check out the TMNT vs Batman figures GameStop exclusive, imo that has the same ideas but done right, I have a feeling those figures could end up really expensive in the long run just because of how unique they look and probably a one and done type deal.

How is that Uk desin and commercial better than what bay squeezed out. I hope we get something this for the next movie. So coool!

Not a great time to ask. With the economic problems resulting from the Corona Virus, I'd say sometime between June and August. But really, it's all up in the air at this point. Sorry. :dunno

lol Ok! I can understand those reasons. There is apparently an announcement coming out from Nickelodeon about this line/show in the fall.

Yeah, if they ever reboot the films, it should be this style and set in the early 90's :yess:

They're doing three TMNT related Loot Crates, they're not Loot Launchers, so don't have to meet any thresholds. There's 3 boxes, one mirage, one arcade, and one cartoon based. They're supposed to each have a figure, but none besides the Mirage Shredder have been revealed. $50 each, and if you buy all 3 then you get a Bebop in a bunny costume. I'm assuming the costume will be soft goods and not a newly molded figure. Randy said on Twitter the Arcade set won't be April or a Foot soldier, but that's all the details so far, so don't know that one, don't know the other toon one.

And if you buy all 3, you get the lucky chance to pay almost double for the Loot Launcher box if you didn't order it the first time around.
 
don't know what to think about this. I might get it but I am only doing movie and cartoon lines so I'm not sure.
