The SDCC Boba Fett was/is ridiculous.

I was there at SDCC all 5 days, including preview night. I hit up the Hasbro Pulse booth every day and still couldn?t get one. It was absolutly infuriating. :lol If you tried to wait in the huge line (or what you thought was the line), security would tell you to leave for traffic/emergency reasons. When it ?sold out? one day and I saw they were letting exhibitors and staff that work the show allowed to get in line (and had the tote bags with multiples of Fett) I knew it was ********.

Don?t recommend SDCC at all, it?s a **** show, especially if you don?t plan everything out. Been going 4 years in a row now. Glad it got cancelled.

So did you not end up with one then?

Oh you best believe I got one.

Thankfully didn’t pay the $220+ they go for now. Still though, pretty salty I over paid when I was RIGHT THERE at the actual show where it was $25. That said, I believe everything evens out. I was able to snag 2 of the Pilot Luke anniversary figure online

So far I have a complete set with a few extras of my favorite cards (love R5-D4, R2-D2, Vader). I’m all caught up save for Wave 3 of Empire and Zuckuss and 4-Lom, obviously.

That's cool. Yeah if you've got Fett then it seems like a pretty cool line to collect. How stupid of Hasbro to make the most popular figure of the Saga the one almost impossible to get. That makes my decision to ignore the format a done deal since that's a hole that I'd never accept.

On the plus side who knows what kind of pandora's box 6 inch Star Wars might have opened so I'll count my blessings, lol.

I mean they've released the Black Series Boba Fett several times, it's just the vintage variant that's crazy for no reason. Plus there's other 6" Fetts out there like Mafex's.

True but vintage colors on vintage card would have sucked me into the whole line, lol.

I'm good though I've got two of the 3.75 retro Fetts on the way and if I want to spend $300 on a bigger vintage Fett then I'll just go with the Hot Toys.

Hasbro new Haslab project is a time machine where they will send you and DiFabio back to when the original line was released with a full mint set waiting for you two.

Only catch is that it uses skynet tech so you and DiFabio have to go thru naked at the same time lol

What the hell jye, lol.

In other news I just melted the sides of the bubbles of two Retro ANH Hans trying to do the stupid hairdryer trick on the sticker, lol. Thankfully third time was the charm and I was able to get the sticker clean off without hurting the bubble (and on my last Han too.) I guess I know which ones I'm opening! :lol

The best part is if that Fett con exclusive was for this year we all would?ve had a shot of getting it online instead of traveling to SDCC.

That figure cost DiFabio $5,025.00 lol

The eBay sellers have the balls to ask $400 and then show the item propped up against a wall wtf sure ok lol

Yeah if you pay to actually go to SDCC then you definitely deserve whatever you want, lol.

Just watched a video review of Black Series Baby Yoda and holy crap that little guy is almost enough to get me to start collecting 6 inch scale SW as well. I can't believe he's tinier than a Lego minifigure, lol.

His tiny stature makes him cuter lol

Had Hasbro not been their usual lazy selves and added a second pair of arms pre sculpted holding the soup bowl and added just another 10% more detail to his facial expression he would?ve been a must own even at his below scale size.

They should have because he is a stand-alone release shame on them.

As is he is a cute addition to the shelf but nothing more.

They could have given us this they are like 50% there I would have melted lol

I saw a video of the recent SDCC 40th anniversary Fett on a large vintage style card and thought hmm, maybe it would be cool to have a little mini-collection of 6 inch ESB figures along with that new snowspeeder. Then I looked him up on ebay and WTF?!?? Why is it more expensive than the HT figure that just went up for preorder?? How many did they make, 10? :lol

Yeah I think I'll pass on that mini-collection, lol.

Yeah, that Fett was unfortunate and ridiculous. Shortly after SDCC I saw a few go for under $100 and I tried to get one for that, but couldn't. I still hope it'll be re-released on a regular card or show up as loose from a China factory on eBay or something.

I've got some newer 6" figs on PO but I'm really not hugely into the 6" line, though I would have loved that Fett as kind of a one-off.:(

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Holy Frik is Babu small lol

My wife looked at my BY and said are you serious lol
