I?m hoping that this has already shipped out before all the drama overseas with the viral outbreak and halt on shipments from China.

The local place I preordered from (well 5 hours away) in Ottawa said they got word that the ectos are in California and probably late feb for delivery here.

Orders placed in October 2017 will ship out first... Thats the first 10 that notices are being sent out...

Mid February another batch of the November 2017 will ship and that?s were mine is at...

A total of 43 were ordered..,

Hope this puts us at ease...

I have nowhere to display this so it'll sit in it's box for at least 6 - 8 months but I'm so glad I am getting this.

There will not be a vehicle made at this scale by any other company for a very long time if at all.

I?m in the same boat. I actually have to wait to MOVE before I can display mine!

Popcultcha in Oz has just raised the price of this to $2999, thats more than double the US price. Glad I preordered at the $2499 price. 3K is getting a bit rich for this.
Im sure it will be epic when it arrives....
Wow I thought the $1800+ Canadian price was bananas

I just knew there would be electronic issues with this car the moment it went up for preorder. In chans vid the top rooflights aren't flashing on and off like in the demo videos of it at comic con, they are just stuck on all the time. The rotators on the second lightbar at the back of the car also appear to be jammed and not working at all in the second video.

Also the rotators are working in tandem at the same time and far too fast in chans video but should be working independently(not at the same time) and slowly to give the correct rotation effect as in the movie. The car they had on display in the below video at comic con 2018 had the rotation effect perfectly so not sure why they changed it.

Even my hot toys Power Loader?s rotating light still works properly after all these years. It?s loud as hell though like the Ecto1 in those videos.

Mr. Chan,

Can you show us more pictures next to the Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile...

Blitzway Ecto 1 Vs Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile size comparison please...

I?m having doubts my Ecto will have enough room to fit on the shelve...

(See my previous photo)

Thank you from

Joliet, Illinois

Here's a comparison pic, someone made up.

That?s cutting it close for my shelve...

I?ll have to do some rearranging in the Batcave...

So I?m looking at a 5-7 inch difference in the length...

The 89 Batmobile is usually posed with just Batman, maybe Joker as well. The Ecto-1 will likely have 4 figures, Slimer, the police barricade and maybe have the rear and side doors open as well. It's going to need at least 4" all around.
