Well, the v1 heads looked like Bolland’s Joker. Here, it looks like a bad cosplayer. Granted, the laughing head looks okay. Besides, look at the accessories of v1 and what you get there. Body and tailoring might be improved, but the rest looks bad.

All in the eye of the beholder like most. I'm not saying this is better but for me, there was something off about the first one. The head was too big for the body. No matter how much I ironed and futzed it, the clothing never sat right on the old figure.

As for accessories, this nearly comes with the same as the old one. This and the original both come with a cane, a gun with flag, cards, a joy buzzer hand, a knife/straight razor. The new one even comes withe crowbar for the Jason Todd type moments. The only thing this one doesn't come with is an overcoat and extra sculpt for the none EX so you're not getting THAT much more with the original vs this new. It's nowhere near as bad as the lack of accessories with the new Batman vs the old Batman.

I like both sculpts and looking forward to getting the figure. I'll happily be in the minority on this one.

The two guys on the video seemed to have no clue how to pose a figure. Hopefully some futzing can ease the neck issue.

With a few exceptions, I'm loving this figure. Especially the exclusive sculpt. Have to get the Batman now..

This sculpt, to me, looks like someone was trying to capture the art of Greg capullo. It isnt bad. Not great. I think it is better than the normal head

Got mine, love the sculpts and the outfit and accessories. The base body feels cheap. I had an extremely loose right knee and went to look to see if I can fix it and the body is that hard ABS plastic. Reminds me of those cheap bodies Captain Action used when Round 2 put out their figures. The knees though double jointed barely get a 45 degree angle and the hands are so deep set the with the pegs you can only basically spin them at the wrist, there is no flexibility at the wrist. To me the Joker has always been very extreme and expressive in his over the top body language. Sadly the base body limits what you can do.

Too bad about the body. Somehow looks a bit 'chubby' too. Might just be me, I am used to a lanky Joker.

I want to like this so much but most of the pics I've seen are like 90% the way there and the other 10% make it look crappy. Maybe if it goes on a free shipping+discount sale at Sideshow I'll grab it, but definitely not in love with it.

I just noticed his shoes, is he wearing slippers?

Solid head sculpts...but after Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix, comic book Joker just seems silly to me now. Give me realistic Joker all day.

I thought I liked the smiling face before but these pics really show the laughing sculpt to be far superior. Still, not terrible. I can still see me buying this.

But man I would have loved ....

This is a perfect example of “to each their own” because as much as I enjoyed Ledger and Phoenix’s performances I much prefer the chemically bleached super villain madman vs the dirty painted faced mentally unstable versions.

Indeed! My tastes have changed since I was first introduced to these characters as a kid. I've become more of a modern era snob than the "classic" take on comic characters.

I will say that I wish the neck on this way was a smidge longer, the Joker is supposed to be lanky but his neck is short giving him the impression of being a bit stocky
